I always wondered why Q wasn't involved in any of the feature films. It was generally felt that John de Lancie would upstage all the other star trek actors and the focus taken away from them. I was so pissed to learn this, my feelings are a good film is a good freaking film! Who CARES whos part has more screentime!! Every Q episode centered around Q, it was hard to make a feature film without breaking that mold, so I can see the argument I guess but I still don't like it

I do not think anything in the brony fandom could match the excitement and anticipation that was there when episode 1 of season 2 was about to come out. Everyone wanted to see discord, everyone was on edge and excited. it's a shame that feeling is gone now. We try so hard to get it back when a new episode comes but its like that first hill on a roller coaster, you may come close but you cannot reach that high again.

My hope is, late in season 2, or in season 3, he'll be freed again by some more significant villain, possibly by accident, and will do this, and generally more constructive and less of a villain and more like Q.

Come to think of it, all of season 1's villains were taught a lesson and became non-villain-ey, except maybe the parasprites and the green dragon we saw for 2-3 minutes.
