Madonna sounds pretentious and narcissistic, but so does Elton in being such a bad sport about losing. First of all, it's a GOLDEN GLOBE, who cares? And honestly, I don't like Madonna much, (I swear if I hear her "British" accent one more time....), but her song was better in my opinion.

@Laser4me You don't live in the US for 40+ years, and then move to England and suddenly develop a strong accent. It just doesn't happen naturally.... there's isn't an ounce of American left, and the British accent is extremely easy to fake. Plus, it's not like she's always over in England, she comes to the US so many times a year, works with Americans all the time---speaking with that accent is a conscious effort for her.
