@IndieGameDevCorner You can and more advanced mattes will need more painting, but a lot of it is based around photos, and any painting you do tends to be just extending the photos. Much easier than painting from scratch, but also much more detailed and realistic.

@TheMatt7000 well alot of the things done in these processes is point and click, when your doing more precise things with longer strokes like in digital painting its alot better with a tablet. Still needs alot of understanding in color and light which i dont have :3
