Does anyone remember when this spiel included Sallah claiming to have invented the seat belt?
I assume that some doorknob sued Disney for the claim and they had to change the spiel. That's why it's not John Rhys-Davies' voice anymore, just a very convincing imitator.
"Hello and welcome to the temple of the Forbidden Eye. I, Salla, shall now give you council to safeguard your miraculous journey." And then at the end:
"Well my friends your moment is drawing near. Already I am envious of the wonders that await you, if you avoid the Eye of Mara that is."

This is not the whole spiel. You are missing:

This isn't the original spiel either. The original was done by John Rhys-Davies himself, this is a rather poor impersonator.
