  • I wont miss big oil and gas at all. I have made hydrogen and it's simple. Please hurry up and get these vehicles and stations on the road.

  • I LOVE IT!!!! Dont worry guys,I'll hook you up with sound effects if you want it to sound like a mucle car. And if you want that smokey look coming out of the tail pipes we can hook you up with a fogger. So big Oil guys,we will still use oil,you just wont have to go drilling in the Oceans to get it when consumption use gos down. So guys, when do we get started on building power stations for these cars. Clean energy will put lots of people to work building it.WAIT! u said OIL companys are to fund?

  • So since hydrogen is so reasonably save and powerful why aren't they using it to get 747s' and other large commercial jets off the ground? Just think of all the megatons of atmospheric pollution we will be removing as minutes go by.

  • @Afrocanuk There is no actual plan layout for jets yet, however there should be since plebians such as me found ways, the boeing should know too.

  • .O.

  • these people are building cars still Dependant on us going to someone to buy the fuel. We already know we can produce the hydrogen fuel through water and electrolysis but then they could not sell us anything.

all of the production hydrogen cars are pushing an electric motor but all of the homemade hydrogen cars are just replacing or adding to the fuel with converted water. Why dont the car producers start there while they are waiting for the hydrogen pump stations?

  • What is the liter per minute consumption rate of hydrogen of these hydrogen cars???

How much liters per minute of hydrogen do these cars use in normal driving???

The device on my motorcycle produces over 40 liters per minute of hydrogen from water.

The device on my motorcycle also produces over 60 liters per minute of HHO gas. Is this enough hydrogen to run these cars??? Signed Norman Williams XMARINE. No joke!!!

  • Fuel cell technology? Picture piles of millions of outdated cells and batteries and all their heavy metals. NOT the future.

  • The internal combustion engine needs to combust. Electric motor powered vehicles are the future.

  • the hydrogen fuel cell car will never work

  • Why not water fuel?

Yyou dont have to produce it.

  • You need electricity to get hydrogen from the water.

  • We have it but we still run cars on gasoline.. I dont get it.

  • why do we have to go to a place to refuel why don't we have the vehicle act as a water to hydrogen converter perhaps using solar as power source i get the feeling industry doesn't want use to break away from the power umbilical cord

  • well thats what the problem is, and why hydrogen isnt currently being widely deployed is because the process of breaking water into hydrogen and oxygen requires more power than you can get from the resulting hydrogen + oxygen reaction.

  • thanks for this video!

  • Forget the hydrogen car! Build me a hydrogen generator to power my house and electric car. Now that's going green.

The oil companies just want to keep you paying for hydrogen fuel like you do now at the pump for gas. Don't be fooled.

  • i would by one right now

  • 746 watts per horse power not 736watts...right Mr.Admin?

  • Ah, another mistake I made here. :(

    Yes, 1HP = 745.699872 Watts :D

Thanks for pointing that out LBC1215 ;-)

  • It looks like this important interview is taken with a basic digital camera in video mode.

Problem is, it takes more electric ENERGY to produce the hydrogen, then the ENERGY, the hydrogen produces.

    Same results with methane.

    Laws of thermo guarantee

They are chasing there own tail.

  • Wow... I think you missed the point of Hydrogen fuel. The point is to be environmentally friendly, not to destroy the laws of energy (not thermodynamics) and create more energy than is used. They even stated in the video that it's about the carbon footprint.

Maybe we should stay with fossil fuels, which require substantial amounts of energy to extract, and create large amounts of pollution.

  • Don't forget that there is limitless amounts of hydrogen, and we're running out of fossil fuels.

  • Yet hydrogen is the most abundant element in the universe...

  • Can you post more info on the 73kw/100HP? This could be read as 7300 watts per 100 horsepower. Or 7300 Watt OR 100 horsepower. The latter is impossible since 736W = 1HP. Perhaps it is supposed to be 736KW/100HP?

    Thanx

  • I'd really like to know how the math is done here. Perhaps its a misprint and should read 10.0 Horse Power? Anyone?

  • Uhh, I'm sure we are all lost with what you're saying.

    73KW = 73*(10^3) = 73000... (As 1 kilowatts = 1000 watts)

At your calculation of 736 watts = 1HP, that's a perfectly correct answer...

That is, 73000/100 = 730. So, that states that 730 watts per horsepower, which is acceptable when rounded.

  • Thank you Zanderif for clearing that up. I had an obvious brain fart in trying to do that in my head. My apologies for confusing anyone. Now, where can I buy one of those 100HP electric motors :D

  • People don't realize that Water Vapor is the biggest and most influencial green house gas. So how it releasing more water vapor into the atmosphere going to cool the planet down? IF global warming is manmade (witch its not) hydrogen is the worst option.

  • The concept is that water must be bound with CO2 in order for sunlight to be trapped. By reducing CO2 we lower the ability of water vapor to trap heat. Supposedly.

  • ahh but if that is true, for years many people are not going to own a hydrogen car (if it even gets big) so adding more water vapor with the hydrogen cars while most everybody else still has a normal car = disaster

  • My hydryogen car design from 1973 has a condenser on the exhaust system to recover H20vapor to be reused as fuel.

  • scince you can't just pour water into a hydrogen car why not make it into a nice refreshing bodle of aquafina?

  • Hmmmm, add just one element and you can make alcohol. Carbon.

  • this helped me a lot in my assignment

hydrogen cars are the way of the future!

    THANKS SO MUCH!

  • gas in indiana is 4.76 bucks!!

    WE NEED IT!!!!!

    EVERYONE DOES!

  • hydrogen on demand is the future water to hho

  • that was a very interesting interview

    thanks for uploading

  • these will only come out if car companies caz give at least 5 years warrenty for the fuel cell, hopefully these testmodels will work but thats like 8 years away if it works, and alot more if it doesnt. fuel cells are still like 12 years away.

  • how much for 4kg of hydrogen this week?

  • ditto "instead of "big oil" you will end up with "big hydrogen."

    however...

the means of H production must be the focus,

wind offshore is the golden pie... NO NUKES....

    welcome to the hydrogen age..

  • going electric is the only way...

  • Complicated,

Maybe we need to go SOLAR.

Suppliers can't gig us for a buck that way.

  • O.k. everytime i try to post it refuses to post. nice.

  • oil companys have broken their backs trying to keep this technology hidden from the public, its not new tech at all. once these cars are on sale worldwide at a reasonable price what do you think will happen to the oil companys and the governments revenue from the fuel tax? we should have had this tech avalible yonks ago

  • Instead of "big oil" you will end up with "big hydrogen."

  • JandOlive - Water vapor is the most common greenhouse gas in the atmosphere, accounting for about 60 to 70 percent of the natural greenhouse effect. This car actually adds water vapor by creating it from hydrogen and oxygen, not by using existing water. It is creating a greenhouse gas.

  • we'r now burning fossil and that releases water vapour hidden for millions of years.

That is extra vapour in the chain!

  • water vapor som what natural. Toxic deisel, unleaded vapor is less so.

  • Sorry those two comments were for glh3913. Lars is a genius.

  • you are joking, aren't you?

  • To Prevent air pollution in the Philippines!

  • This is really cool, I'd love to just poor water in my car.

  • Interesting information about the limitation on low temperature operation. Even with the improvement this gentleman cited in this vehicle, apparently it still would not yet be a viable option for winter driving in Minnesota, for example.

  • How does this car reduce greenhouse gases? The spokesman said it's only output is pure water vapor which is a greenhouse gas itself.

  • you are joking, aren't you?

  • LOL! Water is not a greenhouse gas!

  • plus, how fast would it spread? would the smaller towns be able to get the facilities fast enough to meet the demands, and on top of that, the car would probably cost a lot, since the demand would be way too high and the supply would quickly dwindle

  • there would have been many questions i would ask about it, as how would i go about getting the hydrogen compressed that much to fuel my car?

  • it would be better if u can just pour water into it

  • you cant just poor water into a hydrogen car, you must put hydrogen in there... when u go to fuel up, you stick a hose in the car, and that pumps compressed hydrogen into the car, not water....

  • very nice but I wanted to know more about solar powered cars. I would think a solar powered car would not need to be refueled. I guess the oil companies and GM are behind this car, lol.

  • this sounds really great.

  • what is the energy input to produce the hydrogen.

  • i want one!

  • woah cool engine
