I'm an american 16 year old and I'm really trying to learn a foreign language, I've taken 2 required classes of spanish in High school and Im looking into French and German, I really really want to learn a language but it isn't easy and takes a lot of time and I'm very impatient lol but I'll keep at it.

Great! You now have the desire the will spur you on to learn more and more languages. I started many years ago and instead of slowing down I now study 2 to 3 new languages a year and passed 20 this year when learned Vietnamese and started on Nepali and Hindi.

I agree with all you say about the benefits. Keep going you will have a richer life because of it!
