  • YOU ARE IN A $70,000 DOLLAR CAR. THE G8 COST ONLY 30,000 AND HE STILL STAYED WITH YOUR ASS. THAT IS SAD :(

  • @kkdmdr...Your confused, It's the first Generation CTS-V (400 HP) around 47k. The Second Generation CTS V (556 HP) is 65-70k

  • @kkdmdr WHY SO MUCH HATE AND CAPS??

  • Automatic GXP G8's are slower then the stick... The auto is rated at 395 hp not 415 like the stick... The auto GXP G8's also dyno 30+ hp less then their GXP stick twin.. If this would've been a maunal car in the GXP it would've beat the V...

  • @08turboSS this must a older V because i know you not implying that 445 hp GXP G8 could get beat the latest gen V.......

  • @heartboy86...Correct! It's the First Generation V.

  • my moms got a G8 GXP, its bad ass!!

  • I don't car what color that '83 vette is, you are correct, so fast you won't see it even when its parked. LOL

  • @S13Hero, There is also a GXP Firehawk, not just a GT. Supposedly less than 10 made though.

  • 100k worth of cars filmed on a $10 dollar camera

  • Give the Caddy a proper 6-speed H-M and in a quarter mile anything will eat Cadillac dust.Don't believe it?Top speed 192 MPH.That's top-end,boys!!! Not all roads are straight either. The lap speeds are AWESOME in the V! This isn't the Sixties anymore,a car must have handling and brakeing as well.Check out Hennessey CTS-V,700+ RWHP.That sucker wants to be air-bound!Todays cars are FAR superior to yesterdays low-tech cars.Drive an old muscle car and you'd be surprised at how really bad they were.

  • The firehawk is an 09... not a 10...does have 500 but its a gt..not a gxp...car and driver test it...but sublime is still a moron..500hp not whp and my 300 awhp sti does 0-60 faster then 5+ sec...I hope to hell that an extra 200 can do better..less you suck at driving...and an auto in terms of racing is better..modern auto cars shift faster then any human (other then the stig) can hope to...and are easier to drive daily...common sense chief..think about it for a bit.

  • @S13Hero Dude buts its got a Maggie, and with 5 lbs of boost its adding a hundred to the wheels. You cam that GT with that Maggie and ur looking at 500 to the wheels easy. Blown V8's are wicked.

  • @GXPFiend u better build the trans too if u do a maggie and cam and plan on runnin it.

  • @BLACKLACDTS 6l80E are good for about 450 to the wheels, after that shit starts to come apart. So yea I agree.

  • @GXPFiend i wish gm would make the trannys stronger but they dont. lol i got a trailblazer ss with a 4l70 and they are weak links when building power. so when i start the big upgrades like heads, cam power adder i will need to make a call to rpm.

  • if you guys would stop being dumb and research you would find that there is a g8 with 515 horses but its not a gxp it is called a firehawk and is very rare.Just like the trans am firehawk so dont down the guy. yall should jkust know more lol to that

  • I had a 2008 GT, I got it early March 2008. Auto as only option but I had the 6 sp auto tuned to shift quicker. The motor was called L76 and was rated at 361HP. I raced a stock 2006 CTS V and had 3 cars off the line at the sacramento raceway and held it down there quarter. He def needed a driver mod.

  • Of course The Caddy Will Rape The Pontiac, Look at the difference in performance!

  • too bad the Cadillac is ugly as all hell...

  • those are some fucking sexy ass cars dude!!! XD congratz!!

  • it brought tears to my eyes thanks.. ls2 shittin on ls3 is a good day

  • lmao at the retard saying the gxp has 500 horsepower

    fagadouche

  • sublime, both Slyther and I are trying to save you from yourself, and it doesnt seem to work. So keep on posting about not racing auto's and keep posting about how your 1 of 1863 GXP's has 515 hp. People who know about cars are getting a good laugh at your expense. One more thing, not that it's your business, my wife is a severe diabetic, which means her feet are very sensitive. Basically she can only drive an auto. I hope your little mind can handle this concept of why an auto was bought.

  • sublime. I have a G8 GXP and it's rated 415 hp. My auto puts out 340 to the rear wheels. I have made 5 bone stock passes in the 12.9's in negative 200-400 DA at Houston Raceway Park. The other night in about 0 DA, I hit a 12.77 with dr's, cai, and a partial tune.

In order to stop yourself from further embarrassment, may I suggest doing more homework on the G8 GXP.

It's one hell of a car for a grocery getter.

  • @oldgoatgxp "auto" i lol'd... The G8 GXP i bought (and will be making payment on for 5 more years) had 515 HP and 515 Tq. What are you doing racing Automatic? You should try not being bad at racing and switch to manual. thats why i bought mine with Tremec TR6060 six-speed @ 3.70:1 (final drive) Auto is probably only 3.27:1 (final drive)

  • @Sublime570 LOLOL 515HP? LOLOLOLOLOL!

  • @deezomaxima 552 RWHP 496 RWTQ now. I recently had a Magnacharger MP 1900 Supercharger installed along with the Rotofab CAI. /watch?v=1enBlnfJoLk&feature=player_embedded This one isn't mine but it's a good example. I know it might be a bit hard for some people to believe some one else drives something thats a HP monster. All of Pontiacs vehicles are. Now go drive your Civic.

  • @Sublime570 Understood. The only way these cars get over 500 easy is with a SC or Turbo. Don't be one of those musclehead idiots dude. I own a Maxima and in the market for G8 GT, just waiting to find the right price now. And don't sleep on Civics dude. There are plenty of vids showing them running against all kinds of 500+ cars and doing a damn good job at it.

  • @deezomaxima 2010 GXP special edition has 515 stock. It's a rare car now and very expensive. it cost 43$k i had my Air Force grad check to pay about half and now i'm making payment for a 5 years. It did have 515 stock. when i was buying it the dealer showed me the detailed papers and it even shows the whole layout/specs of the car on the last 5 pages in the car manual. It was a ridiculous amount of money to spend but i live for cars. I'll live in it if i have to. I wish you luck on finding a G8

  • @Sublime570

And here I was thinking the G8 only existed for two model years.

  • @anfman1986 No one know about Google or what?

  • @Sublime570 It didn't exist, broski. If you were sold a 2010 G8, you got hosed. '08-'09 only.

  • @anfman1986 Wow, I guess people seriously never heard of google.

  • @Sublime570

Right then bro, keep on owning that 515 horsepowers 2010 G8 that doesn't exist, I'll just sit over here in my pristine '83 Corvette.

  • @anfman1986 Mk, enjoy your American Muscle Canadian :]

  • @anfman1986 I think I might be the only one who actually understands how funny your comment is! I bet you '83 Vette is the fastest 1 in the world. So fast it can't even be seen when parked!

  • @deezomaxima there is a g8 gt on ebay for 16,500, with ~25k miles and v8

but it drove into standing water and had the engine replaced

  • @immuki :-( I wonder if it smells of mold tho......

  • @Sublime570 I find it funny you're trying to diss me with your comment but you thought your GXP had 515hp stock. Don't even go any further with any clown ass remarks.

  • Comment removed

  • @sublime Lmao your so confused guy. You need to google an LS3 crate engine... There rated at 430/430 in a vette, 425/425 in the 2010 camaro and 415/415 in the GXP you dumb ass I know I own one... And gt is much better value. A gxp was 38 grand new I got my GT for 27500 new and with only exhaust and a tune ran a 12.9 and now a 12.7

Learn about cars before you attempt to talk shut dumb ass. The only LS crate near 515 is the LS7 in the Z06 with puts out 505hp

And stop using "rwhp" when you don't

  • @F4LL3NBURR1T0 Yeah, i own a GXP and i would know. 515 rwhp. 515tq. 0-60 5.5 sec. GT cant do that. i have looked at many G8 GT drag races. GXP is BMW m5 competition. GT is mustang competition. its jusr pure fact. :]

  • @Sublime570 A stock GXP is 415hp, at the crank. They make around 370hp and change to the wheels. 0-60 in 5.5 sec, lol the GT does that stock. Your numbers are all screwed up buddy. The M5 is rated above 500 engine horsepower, no the GXP is not M5 competition. My G8 GT makes 435 to the wheels naturally aspirated, and was just pulling past an M5 (which was obviously stock). Sublime you should learn more about your car before you try and discuss it, as you will come across as a ricer.

  • @Slyther83 Well it seems as if you're discussing as an opinion. When i bought my 2010 GXP it said right on the sheet. 515 HP. You saying you're GT is better than a GXP with an LS2 is just silly. 2010 GXP is a four door corvette.

  • @Sublime570 An opinion? First off, there is no 2010 G8's, period. Second off, the GXP is 415hp, stock. Both the LS2 (GT) and LS3 (GXP) are corvette engines. The GT's engine is titled the L76 because it has bigger heads and that ridiculous DoD system (which got us under the gas guzzler tax, however I had DoD removed entirely shortly after getting mine). Anyway, Sublime you should really read up on your car, as you obviously know as much about it as a woman.

  • @Sublime570 Keep telling people your stock '2010' GXP is 515hp- you will sound like a complete idiot.

  • @Slyther83 k.. Didn't plan on stopping :]

  • Lmfao @sublime??? Your one confused mofo. Gxp is 415hp 415 tq & 0-60 4.7...

I have a g8 gt and run the quater mile in 12.7

And all ive got are headers tune and intake.

  • @F4LL3NBURR1T0 How am i confused? You just restated every fucking thing i just said. lmao. and no the G8 GT isnt anywhere near as good as a GXP. GXP uses the Ls3 engine (corvette engine). G8 GXP (not fucking GT) has 515 RWHP stock.

  • @Sublime570

The GT has the L76, which is the Holden version of the LS2. the only difference between the to engines is the throttle body, intake, and a slight different timing. LS2 are rated between 395-415 BHP, and 361 BHP for the L76. My LS2 made around 320 RWHP stock. with headers, catback, and a tune its now just under 360 RWHP and 370 RWTQ.

wheel power can be different in every car that shares an engine, its all about how the drivetrain is set up. i will get 15/15 with a L/W Fly

  • @F4LL3NBURR1T0 i agree with u bud they got it all wrong. The gxp is 415hp not 515hp..wtf. an ls7 vette has 505hp. my dad had a liquid red g8 GT and ive drove it enough to know its not a whole lot slower than the gxp i'm sure. i raced my buddy in a 6.0L GTO and he didnt even catch me till 100mph. the g8 is great off the line and just keeps on going

  • @F4LL3NBURR1T0 is the closest to correct. 415 hp/400ft/lbs 0-60 4.6 secs. the gt and gxp do not have the same moter. 6.0 liters in GT- LS2 , 6.2 in the GXP- LS3. you guys would argue about free food, my goodness. the GXP does compete against 5 series, though not the M5. it is an amazing car, though (the GXP). pulled 70 to 120 right alongside a convertible gt500. cool! thank you aussies for the best pontiac ever made!

  • @F4LL3NBURR1T0 oh yeah governed top speed is 146

  • two POS cars from a bankrupt failed company

  • @exBMRguy I'm sure you're just mad because you dont drive anything near as powerful. GXP is V8 with 515 HP and 0-60 in 5.4 sec with top speed of 165 (with govenor). I'm sure you have no idea what it feels like to drive something that powerful. :]

  • @exBMRguy You should lay off the meth bro. It tends to make you think you're relevant.

  • put them up stock vs stock, CTS-V eats shit

  • It was an 09 GXP...my bad.

  • sry buddy thats a 09 gxp

  • If it was a pontiac g8 firehawk the results would probably be way different.

  • @ballinbori625 yeah but these car pretty much on the same playing field,

  • Good tune:)

  • They only made the GXP in 2009.

  • Mikey getting the smack down!

  • nice vid!
