I recently met Jon and asked him about this, one of my favorite songs ever, and he couldn´t remember it. This can only be a sign of the incredible amount of sublime work Jon has done in his 50 year career.
@aproachingsilence ...seems that some artists don't realise that just a song (a "filler", you may say in this case) can leave our souls trembling with emotion for years... :) Great meeting with Jon, that man is light to this world.
It's very curious why Vangelis leaves tracks as great as these off his compilation albums. This is a stunningly beautiful song, but sadly difficult to obtain. "Private Collection" is my favourite album by J & V. I think it's a fitting album title because the subject matter in the music seems like it's very personal to the artists, in particular Jon Anderson who wrote the lyrics. My parents introduced me to this album (they had Private Collection on cassette) and I loved it instantly.

wonderful discovery for me, never knew of the existence of this song and I have been a fan ever since Short Stories came out. This is also by far the best fusion of song to video I have seen for a J&V track, well done

Sadly, I wished, it would be also on the "Private Collection" album. That`s sadly. It would have been beautiful.. But OK.... :)
