it really just depends on you. some e/s r more powdery than others. i find that spritzing mixing medium helps it apply better & makes the color show up more vibrant without having to layer and layer and layer it =)
i noticed you used a mixing medium. if i use a cream base (like revlon's cream palette, or NYX jumbo pencils) already, do i still have to spritz a mixing medium? or is it one of those things where it's either or?
doesn't seem to do anything to my shadows. remember tho, we're talking about powders here. if it does end up hardening the surface of a shadow over time...it's possible to scratch off the surface to get to the 'good stuff' again ;)
