First of all when you at a restaurant and someone is picking up the tab and you offer to "at least take care of the tip" you are agreeing to pay the WHOLE tip for both of you not just your tip. Meaning he pays the bill and you pay the tip. The $7 you gave was NOT enough for the tip.
Now that I heard the whole PAINFUL STORY I don't see how you got SHAFTED.
You were willing to go Dutch and according to you you had a salad $8 and catfish with fries about $9 that is a Total os $17.00 plus a 20 to 40% tip that would be about 17 + $6 = $23.00

I think u were right. U told him u were meeting someone, so how is he going to get mad. If he was going to act like that he should have continued the conversation after u told him u were meeting dude. Has far as the money, I would have been pissed, but what can u do? Tonya, I've watch two of your videos. You are both attractive and charismatic. If you had your own show you might give Oprah a run for her money. But, you are a bit naive. Most men, and women for that matter, would more than likely manifest a certain degree of jealously in a situation like that. It's human nature. I would have quietly paid for the meal, returned your tip to you and left your number(s) on the table.
The breeze from the single social butterfly is difficult to bear when they blow through you. WI guy thought he had made a connection until German guy came in, the meal was over, and the butterfly gone. Then, the butterfly sits a few tables down with someone else (who you may think is not right for her): its a lot for a single man's ego.

First, I'm not waiting 40 minutes for anybody. Next time get the second guys number hook up with him later. Why burn a possible option when the second guy already knew you had somebody meeting you. You never know, some people are just that possessive. I'm NOT waiting, I would got the other guys number and left. Also, I would have tried to get to different meetings, dinner two times(possibly) etc. If you don't know both well, cut your loss from the beginning.

That doesn't make sense. She told him from the beginning that she was meeting a friend. She said she would go ahead and eat with him while still waiting for her friend. She stayed to talk to the guy a bit longer even when her friend showed up. If he didn't want to pay he should have let her pay all of her part and then called her later to see if she was really interested or not. The End.

First of all when you at a restaurant and someone is picking up the tab and you offer to "at least take care of the tip" you are agreeing to pay the WHOLE tip for both of you not just your tip. Meaning he pays the bill and you pay the tip. The $7 you gave was NOT enough for the tip.

You were willing to go Dutch and according to you you had a salad $8 and catfish with fries about $9 that is a Total os $17.00 plus a 20 to 40% tip that would be about 17 + $6 = $23.00
If you paid $7 towards the tip PLUS later another $8 that is $15.00 you are the one that SHAFTED the Restaurant and waitress.

I thought about that too! Same thing happened at the toll booth. The person in front paid and when we got up there she said NO PAYMENT was left and wouldnt let us thru and the car ahead was 30 meters away. So we paid and when we met up the first car they said they had paid! ISnt that foul... But you know what goes around ALWAYS comes around. Also remember the guy LEFT w/o saying goodbye and NEVER called either. So he's acting peculiar.
