@NeverLost...I had use of a friend's paddock pass for about two hours on Saturday just before QP. I managed to get Spies, Bautista and Kalio to sign my MotoGP ball cap that I got at the race in Laguna last month. My wife got pics with Pedrossa, Bautista, Rossi and Hayden when it was her turn with the pass. Awesome weekend!! for the record, I did not suggest that all Euro-riders are "assholes"...just one Euro-rider, ;) Stop trying to 'create' a personality Jorge! Just ride the damn bike.
Cut the guy a break...he's there to race motorcycles, not to parade around like an annoying idiot missing three foot puts and walking in slow motion like other Jack-asses do...ya all you Lorenzo fans out there know who I'm talking about. Don't listen to these chimps Ben. You did a great job out there Ben, great result for a hard week-end of work...I was sweating like a rapist in the stands, so I can imagine how hot it was for you guys out there on the track. Thanks again for the autograph!
@19Hawke70 Where did you get Autograph???? Was there too, was looking for autographs, maybe get rider or two to sign cast, recently broke wrist...Was in stand J-ish so could see everything was great!

@sergif Dear Sergif, when I mentioned euro "assholes" I sure as hell was not talking about somebody like Dani Pedrosa, Lorenzo et al. Those guy have all my respect. I was talking about little fuckers who try to give Spies a hard time for his Texas accent and want to find something negative about a really talented, modest kid just because they don't like where he is from.
@roylee13 Ok, excuse me for my comment, so. In fact I (being spanish) do not care the accent of Ben Spies, in fact I don't care the accent of no one. And, I must say, Spies is a great rider, and let' s see what happens next year!
Excellent stuff, its been obvious to anyone whos been watching him race for the last 4 years that it was only a matter of time before he would be fighting at the front of Moto Gp.. Looking forward to seeing him on an even better bike next year!
@jmc9195 are you kidding me?! he's one of the most modest riders i have ever seen. he never takes anything for granted, and always has a calm and collected personality. If you really want to say that he is something in a negative way, i guess you could say that he is too monotone or lacks enthusiasm, but that is just his demeanor. i think you're just pissed off an american got a podium. quit your bitching.
