(this comment may contain spoilers) ok after reading this book I realized soon enough that it was nothing more than The lion, the witch, and the wardrobe. Three kids destined to save the world from an evil witch... that's pretty much the same thing as the narnia book. In this book, the boy (Micheal) gets kidnapped by the witch, much like how edmund got kidnapped by a witch. And so on and so on.

Before i saw the picture of the book i thought this was a joke, making fun of other books and movies where children are the chosen ones, needed to fulfill a prophecy etc. This "trailer" doesn't seem to be doing the book any justice. I hope the book was written with uniqueness in mind as the trailer makes me think it has been written to follow popular trend. Best of luck to the author and the marketers.

Looks like such a fusion of already written books.. kind of a mix of narnia, MYST, Harry Potter, City of bones and so many other books... Is originality really dead? Don't get me wrong- I'm sure the book is great but I really would rather read something I haven't read so many times before.

the only thing that makes these texts popular is that teenagers are in it- why isnt Day of the Triffids, Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, War of the Worlds, I Claudius as popular they are written so much better and are original for once.

ill tell you where you saw it! this author guy copied it off of the series of unfortuneate events by lemony snicket! duh. i mean, seriousely? its so obvious. three children who lost their parents one older girl whos 14 a middle child whos a boy and litlle sister who isnt sunny's age but its obvious he copied of of violet, klaus, and sunny. alot of you havent read the 13 books of it but he copied it! these kids go from orphanage to orphanage while the other kids go to guardian after guardian!!!!!
