Definitely a great program. Shame there is yet no hardware to do it justice. But we are getting there with the latest Intel chips.

Software wise, the next best thing (after trackIR) to add is voice control.

I enlist the help of a virtual co-pilot to help me fly the big birds.

Try something called "Multi Crew Experience" (you can download a Demo), and experience the thrill of voice control. You can even talk to native FSX ATC.

Google it up folks.

@xxjpxxdeluxe Well most games only model small areas and so they only have textures for small areas. When you have a game that goes over the entire world as well as having lots of aircraft with detailed textures it only makes sense that it would be a much bigger file.

the graphic card i7 is the brand new Graphic card.. and i would believe that you can use the maxed out graphics settings on the game. and i would recommend you doing like a custom desktop because otherwise if you used desktops from alienware, they now use the vistas. but you could get anywhere from 4 to 80 bucks off ebay for just a case for the desktop.. and then buy yourself a motherboard, the i7 graphic card, a power supply box, fans, 4mb memory ram, i would suggest like a 500GB HDD ---

If you want to play the game at best quality... i'd suggest Desktops... probably an XP would be a best choice... Intel i7 graphics card would be best choice as well :D

well... I guess they use a Nvidia 8800 GTX Ultra 768 MB DDR3, 2-4 GB RAM DDR2, Intel Core Duo Processor 3000 MHZ or more... an ASUS Motherboard... and 100 GB HD is sufficient to run the FSX at full quality.

i have vista, 2 gb ram and running the game and nothing else takes about 1.5GB ram. btw the game takes 13GB on hard drive.
