I love the Enfields but am no home mechanic, I hear they are heavy maintainance bikes, is this true?

@ukchris64 yeah they are, you should know the basic tinkering of the bike.You can easily spend anywhere near a 1000 bugs on maintenance a month,if you want to keep the bike in top condition.

Yep peckerwood57, in our part of the world 2 wheelers constitute more than 70% of the road traffic. But they're popular for a different reason than in the west.
