This is a good video but a very important correction needs to be noted!! The 15th Amendment did NOT give EVERYONE the right to vote. ONLY MEN had full citizenship rights which included voting. All women, white and of color, did not get the right to vote until August 26, 1920!

Whether you like rap or not, the message of this video is clear and inspiring. Even though the style targets youth, the substance resonates with us all. These images of a not-so-distant past in our country may spark memories for some and be new to others, but the message is clear for us all...VOTE.
