yea, too many creeps. got drunk at a bar and the bush tetras came on. what a night...so glad i found this.... brings me back to a cool nite on a dark street downtown. couldn't be the mudd???
Bush Tetras are the bomb. Too Many Creeps is the all-time punk anthem. I love this band. Big influence. Lots of attidue. Pat Place, Dee Pop and Cynthia Sley. It's the worst! Wow.
Pissing in my pants here... Saw them at My Father's Place in Roslyn, went downstairs to meet them and remember them on freakin smack. A lasting impression on a young 16 year old punk. Still loved the music!!!
AHHH! Someone please post the original vid of this song that I used to see whilst dancing at The Ritz a million years ago when I was 17 and snuck in. We'd be dancing, and the video came on, we'd stop dancing and watch it. Ahhhh, youth. I loved the Bush Tetras!! My singles were played to death. Someone post it! And yes, NYC is totally filled with different kinds of creeps now. Man, love that Pat Place slashy guitar. Woo.
Well, to be fair, Topper came around after they showed promise. As a friend of mine put it at the time, "Having Topper Headon produce your album is like having Paul Simonon do your math homework."
I loooooove this song! And wow! 20 years later! And they still kick it FAR GREATER than the modern bands of a fake dance-rock sound. Some of the catchiest punk ever. Let's all give thanks to Topper Headon.
Great stuff, thanks for posting.

And what a time it was right Jode7?
These guys were a graet band thanks to Ed Ballman and Ronald Bally.

God remember seeing the Bush Tetras do this at the OLD Peppermint Lounge in the Village. What an awesome blast from the past!

I'd love to see the video for this too. Saw it in '81 and have'nt seen it since. I'd love to hear the Gang Of Four do a version of this song.

I've only recently heard of this group, about a year ago, and I don't know why but I mistakenly thought they were an English band. Wow.
