  • LED's very expensive!

  • haha did you look at his link?

  • @giopadilla23 :US $818.00

    you look,

  • @Alexw1100 i was looking at the parts list and clicked the link but i found 50 for six bucks and shipping so im good haha

  • the reason you need a dull bit is so it won't cut away as much in one try, the sharp bit will try and cut too much and while forcefully trying to remove the glass will end up cracking it

  • How much did you spend on the parts

  • the time is 1911! Gun Reference! :P

  • HOLY CRAP YOU KNOW WHAT ARDUINO IS!!!

  • I think it is correct to say an LED, because you are making an e sound not l

  • Title is wrong! It should be a not an

  • Can someone please tell me if "slow flash" and "fade" are the same things when it comes to LEDs?

  • ur cat looks the same as mine

    ms Dutchy

  • I thought that you bought your leds from Hong Kong...

  • I'm gunna make 1

  • Texture Pack????

  • potato you are just a badass im blown away

  • @PotatoOrgy More clear then that?? NOT POSSIBLE. Awesome job potato :) Thanks.

  • Sometimes my PIss goes everywhere

  • great video. post this on makezine.com imo

  • I'm gonna get my from HONGKONG :D

  • I did all this and then i remembered that i don't have table

  • are you gona sell it?

  • "soda or some shit" xD

  • Very nice tutorial, @PotatoOrgy !! Thanks for sharing this with teh internetz :D

  • @PotatoOrgy r u brenybeast coz if u r i love you (im not a homo)

  • @shadowsword501 No hes not brennybeast...they dont even sound the same. They are friends though.

  • and have a beer. I LOVE YOU POTATO

  • cats are tha best!

  • but where is the redstone D: ?

  • Its good that here in denmark you only need to be 16 To drink beer :d

  • This gives me an idea for next years coursework... Could you just use a trio of different coloured normal LED's, but use a pcb circuit to rotate the colours?

  • @icanhazbongos You can if you want, but if you're going that route, just get the 4 prong RGB LEDs and then you only need 1 LED in each cell.

  • I have no idea what you're talking about and no intention of making a pretty table but imma watch the video anyway :D

  • That Second cat was staring into my soul

  • Oh and any Skyrim Insiders soon? or SMP?

  • I've got a cat just like that grey one. Bloody noisy things.

  • thumbs up if u didn't have any intrest in learning how to this and you just saw potato

  • Awesome smiley at the end! :D

  • To be honest Potato you should make a [How-To] Be The Most Awesome Person On Youtube

Because quiet clearly you have a degree in that ;)

  • Kip-potato-kay

  • Could you make a guide on how to build your very own computer, wich I thought was lit up by Christmas light. Sorry about that.

  • @TheRsJockey It's lit up by LED wires :)

  • How much redstone did you need?

  • Moar fisheye tableshoots!

  • Real life redstone!

  • I'm honestly suprised the plexi cost so much, where did you get it?

  • Also, love the comment at 12:30 about having more busted electronics than working ones one the first try. This is incredibly true/important. If things aren't working as expected after the first try, do NOT worry. Check your connections and try again ;)

  • @TJMonk94 Exactly right. Should never freak out if it doesn't work the first time. Happens to more people than you think. lol.

  • just wanted to post a great place I've used before to order LEDs: (google search oznium and click their LED link) They are great!!!! Customer Service, products, etc. are all way above standard.

  • the 4 dislikes are the people that can't afford a whole bunch of crap

  • How much was it all together?

  • POTATOES GONNA POTATE

  • I might make a really small version of that like 2 lights for my art GSCE identity project next year. Though I'd probs have to rewatch this like 9 times cause that just frazzled my brain.

  • Comment removed

  • @PotatoOrgy the reason you don't use sharp drill bits on the plexi is because of how sharp the bit is it will grip the plexi as it gets drilled deeper (that's what she said)

  • How much Redstone did you use?

  • Hope you don't mind, Potato, but I just liked this, put it on for background noise, and didn't pay attention at all.

  • How did you make so realistic in... Minecraft??!?

  • DAYUM gurrl. That was an amazing video! :D Excellent job.

  • so where does the redstone go

  • if poeple want to make this check the price of half inch or inch plexi glass and just bye 4-3 sheets and just layer them its should save you money

  • show us where to put the redstone

  • which is cheaper: plexiglass or sheet glass

  • Look at the url. Look back at this comment: FUAAAAAAA!!!!!

  • im gonna be making this for my grade 12 wood work assignment =D

  • damn i could have done this for my dt gcse!

  • If you want to help keep costs down, look up Adafruit. They have a 10 pack to 2 prong slowfade Diffused RGB leds for $4.95 a pack. And for something like this you should only need 1/4 inch plexiglass ( 1/4" 24"x48" should run you about $40-$100 depending on where you look ).

  • i want to make this so bad

  • Don't have wire stippers? Use a cat! :D

  • That spinny smiley face at the end.

  • Is the Aus Doller still more then US?

  • @JaWaDoG4LiFe yes

  • Awesome job Potato! Very professional work good editing, good commentary, and good end result I'd like to see more stuff like this from you. Maybe next time you go to build a new PC you could do a tutorial. I'm experienced at building them but I get really nervous around water cooling systems.

  • "Soda, or some shit" I laughed so hard.

  • I'm gunna make one of these in the summer when ill have the time space and money great vid potato

  • wow that it awesome potato GOOD JOB

  • Those kitties wish they could be redstone wizards!

  • Less look dull

  • sounds like your reading it >_>

  • Awesome just awesome

  • Beast

  • I can already get the plexi, i guess this si going to be my new project?

  • damn nice table, i want to make one now

  • Terry is black!!! omg i never would have guess!!!!

  • A soda or some shit. Haha

  • needs nyan cat also your missing the chick in the background talking xD

  • i think i missed the part of the video where you give me the money to make my own table...oh here it is

  • I would love to try this out, but how hard would it be with minimal electronic knowledge?

  • Instead of soldering, could I just use electrical tape?

  • @bleachzeldakid I wouldn't. The bond wouldn't hold over time.

  • @PotatoOrgy you know it' funny i should know this but how do i find my continuous flow?

  • @bleachzeldakid it`s terrible to use tape, i you have worked with electronic you know that!

  • need moar cats :3

  • where did you get you plexiglass from

  • potato is almost as cool as Naruto...almost

  • @BUTTERshin no potatos much cooler

    xD

  • I cant believe he can do this but cant do redstone..=)

  • Brain......Hurts......So.......Bad!!!

  • wait what, you got a brother, never heard you mentioning him.. - also are you still living with your family? as you had help from them.

  • I LOVE YOOU SO HARD RIGHT NOW

  • OMG I LOVE UR CAT, I HAVE A CAT AS WELL :D please do a vlog on introducing ur pets to us please please please thumbs up?

  • Makin tables ALLDAY. Thanks Dwight for another fantastical video, the "best way."

  • I love the project, but I wouldn't have used poster board. It doesn't seem sturdy enough.

  • @maddog218 the posterboard doesn't support ANY weight. The entire weight of the plexi is ontop of the PVC pipes. And the PVC pipes are supported by the wood of the table. The box is 'freefloating' between the two.

  • i'm actually pretty tempted to make a computer desk out of this. but that would require very thick plexi glass lol.

  • The voice you use when telling people how to do things is vastly different in comparison to the voice you use in your other videos.

    I like it..

  • this is so professional (the video editing). nicely done!

  • under 301 club woot!
