Well, let's get realistic. ASSUMING the oil companies don't jack up prices higher anyway in response to removing the gas tax.. A typical driver might save 20 bucks over the summer. This comes at the expense of thousands of necessary construction jobs that are financed by the gas tax. In turn, EVERYONE will have to be charged more in income and/or sales taxes to finance those construction jobs, thus nullifying the benefits of the gas tax holiday. This is moronic economic policy.

Also, even if we completely cease farm production for food (in the US), it will only provide for 4% of the oil used in our country. If you need a better idea, we can all be like Europeans, of whom only about 40% drive regularly. Hillary had a 30% lead in Pennsylvania in mid march, 2-3 weeks before voting in Pennsylvania Hillary had a 20% lead and by voting day hillary won by a margin of 10%.
