  • Here's the thing about a soldier, it doesn't matter what the politicial resaon is, what the public opinion is, that soldier is there to do his/her job, what their country wants them to do, and they do it courageously, simply for their country and for the soldier next to them...

I hate that this world needs men and women who are strong, brave and courageous to continually fight to keep us safe. To each and every family I offer my thanks and deepest sympathy. To those of you who are still fighting I pray that you stay safe and come home soon to the arms of those who love you. May God bless all of you and all of your families! In my family, you will never be forgotten.

  • Wow, 1 a-hole with a dislike! What a POS!

God Bless The Allied Forces. May the fallen R.I.P.

  • I will fight again with my American brothers if needed for our future and our families!

  • I watched this video at least a THOUSAND times and "still" can't get enough of it... Thank you SO MUCH to our military servicemen who give their lives to protect us. You define what it means to be "American." Also, thank you very much for this video, it's the best one of all that I've seen by far...

  • With full respect to our fallen soldiers.

How is the war in Iraq helping Canadians? Or the British and U.S. Americans for that matter. These poor soldiers have died for absolutely no other reason than to keep the pockets of the rich full. The soldiers were lied to; period! As was the rest of the world lied to.

  • @TheInternetWanderer The Iraq government was cruel to the people. The Canadians didn't participate in that war because it was an attack on another country. Our troops are in Afghanistan fighting in the defence of our neighbours who were attacked.

  • @AllstarCanadian - re: "The Iraq government was cruel to the people." - Sorry my friend, but that’s not the initial reason given for the unlawful assault on Iraq, a sovereign nation. What happened to all the “weapons of mass destruction”?

And in respect to the conflict in Afghanistan, I support the Canadian government’s position, but I do not support a fight with no end in sight. (Again, with the upmost respect for our soldiers.)

  • @TheInternetWanderer Yes, it is a fact that the war between the States and the middle East will not likely end in our life time, and probably not the next. People say that it was the oil that brought the Americans into the war, I'm sure that's why the British leaped at it. Other's say that it was Bush just picking up where daddy left off. Either way, Canada only defends, never attacks. The U.S government asked that Canada assist in Iraq and we didn't, and were bashed by their media ever since.

  • @AllstarCanadian - Respectfully, the U.S was not “brought” into the war with Iraq, they started the aggression. As for the British, who knows what Blair and his government were after? I don’t recall the U.S media ever bashing Canada for its decision not to get involved in the Iraq war. That doesn’t mean it never happened.

Re: “Canada only defends, never attacks” – Wrong! Canada does take on offensive duties in Afghanistan. Remember that Canada is there for combat duties. Look them up!

  • @TheInternetWanderer NEVER has Canada brought war on a country that didn't instigate war already. Canada just backed up their neighbours. During ww1 and ww2 that is what our military did, just defend.

I admit the Americans do have a reputation of being selfish and taking advantage of other countries, which they live up to. But I don't think they went to Iraq for the oil, I don't know if Britain did, but they have had a few with Iraq for a while now.

  • @AllstarCanadian - You’re absolutely right, Canada has never instigated war and I did not mean to imply otherwise. I simply stated that in Afghanistan, Canada has a combat role. Sorry, you misunderstood my meaning and I also mistook your statement.

  • @TheInternetWanderer I think I answered the wrong person. That reply was supposed to be from someone else... some fool troll attacking my country on YouTube, sorry for the mistake. I don't like the new change they made to the Yahoo comments, it makes it more complicated when both names are on the same comment.

  • God bless you mates, from an argentine NCO

  • Heroes all, thank you my brothers from a cold warrior.Rest in peace ,your burden is done and the due paid,we are lesser in your absence.

  • rip cpl sam i will never forget you

  • RIP Yannick. Je Me Souviens...

  • Tears my heart out, will we ever stop killing each other?

  • A total of 154 Canadian Forces personnel have been killed in the war since 2002

In excess of 4710 U.S. heroes have also given us the Ultimate Sacrifice in Honour.

...Just One loss is too many to bear, but they fight on -for us all. All I can do is look at their faces...such wonderful life-loving country-honouring faces. - and then roll it back and watch again whispering "Thank You for your love...and your gifts. All we can do - is treasure you always".

  • Absolutely breathtaking. Thank you.

  • my mother was a candian and my father an american and it breaks my heart when i watch videos like this one and people are trashing the military but they didnt realize if it werent for our militry forces they wouldnt be able to post a comment like that or do many of the things we can now god bless america and canada not to much longer and ill b joining those men and women in the forces.

  • Born in Canada but now an American. Much respect for the Canadian military that goes out there and gets the job done. Sadly the Canadian military does not get the benifits that their fellow soldiers here in the USA get. All the more reason to hold your heads high, you guys are trully fighting for pride and honor. I have friends and family in different branches of U.S special forces, and they often tell me that JTF2 are amongst the best in the world.

  • Very lovely video...Many thanks from an American Marine daughter who waits patiently for her daddy to come home in 8 months

  • 3.43 i stopped breathing for a second... this is so sad... omg

  • I served 6 years in CDN Forces. Have friends still doing so. God bless and keep them all, and remember the ones fallen. Pvt. William Cushley...young man from near where I live...fallen. R.I.P.

  • enlisting next year, R.I.P brave heros!

  • RIP Brandon G, Daniel L, Alexander B, Jonathan J, Ryan C. They are the bravest and the toughest men I've ever seen...It is my pleasure to serve with you guys. Semper Fidelis.

  • The politics for both make it seeme like Vietnam in some ways. Yet those who made that sacrifice didn't doing for flags, conturies, or any of that crap. They did it for the person next to them. They should be honored for their courage.

  • My dad died in war, my two older brothers as well. I'm so proud that they are my family, cuz they fought to make this place safer. Anyway I guess it's my turn now..

  • If I were a younger man, I'd be over there. Just turned 37. I'm too old to enlist.

  • RIP Cpl Brian Pinksen, never gonna forget you or the rest of our boys over there.

  • I beautiful tribute, and right in time for rememberance day. God bless all the soldiers over there right now.

  • Thank you. I will remember.

  • Disrespectful comments will be deleted and you will be blocked from posting on this video. This is a tribute to the men and women who've given their lives for us and if you're here to post your garbage instead of paying tribute, please leave.

  • Can't we block this Paki fuck from posting on this? Unfortunately education won't even fix this sorry fuck. He's disrespectful and can't see past his own partner's ass. If Sebek92 could disable comments for this it would be great so we don't have to see this guy disrespect us anymore.

These brave souls made the ultimate sacrifice for us all. I would hope that we can honor that sacrifice by respecting our fellow citizens. And work together to solve our shared problems.

  • @icecold151 Amen brother, and Godsped to all of the brave soldiers from my homeland (Canada) that fight hand in hand with my current country men (America). Hold your head high Canada, your Soldiers are trully fighting for freedom with honor and pride as their reward because sadly they have been ignored by their Government which does not compensate them or provide them with the benifits that they rightfully deserve.

  • This is one of the most touching videos i've ever seen! We need to stop our bickering and remember these are real people-someone's mother, father, daughter or son.The fact that they are willing to sacrifice their lives, for whatever reason, is a testament to their true character and bravery. To all servicemen/women, we want to thank you, regardless of where you are from - you have given us a gift that we will NEVER be able to repay, and yes, we will remember all of you!!

  • Canadian here, family died for this country with pride and so will if if needed when i join

I may find Americans to be a bit too proud of themselves sometimes, but I have all the respect in the world for The United States Armed Forces, The Canadian Military, The British Military, The Australian Military, and all other brave countries giving their lives to fight out enemies

  • I want to thank sebek92 for posting this. I am an American Servicemember, who happens to love both the US and Canada and appreciate Canada's friendship and alliance with the US. While we may not agree on the matter of these wars, regardless, we should stand behind our troops who fight the wars of corrupt politicians, no matter what nation they are from.

  • @erichlenz I agree with you 100%. A couple of the pictures in that video were friends of mine who fell in Afghanistan. I'm proud to have gone there and served my country alongside our allies. May all of our fallen rest in peace.

    Chimo.

  • WAR OF LIES.

    OIL

    oil

  • @seabear145 And what is your point? Oil?

Did you make your computer with twigs and pebbles? Do you get your electricity for your computer by rubbing a balloon made from goat stomachs on your head? Let me guess...you live in a cave and only eat rodents and insects..that's why you use no oil......want to see whom is to blame for the conflicts that do indeed have oil as a reason also.....look in the mirror.

  • has nothing to do with oil

Canada is America's largest oil supplyer, so if it was for oil the war wouldnt be overseas. Youre such a dumb fuck, get your facts straight before posting.
