our teacher was teaching us about compressed air saftey and he used to work in a mine. they had HUGE hoses for the drills and one guy didnt turn off the pressure before he detached the drill from the hose it whiped him against the wall of the mineshaft and when they tried to clean of the bodie he wasnt even recognizble as human remains please if you work with dangerous equipment. REMEMBER THE SAFETY STEPS!

@Despondency420 Well, it mite seem impossible. Fact of the matter is all of these accidents can happen. And all these can be avoided with a little common sense. Loose clothing around lathes, taking guards off machines, Welding/gas-cutting barrels/tanks that have contained fuel/oil..... I've had some close calls and a couple of minor injuries in engineering and car workshops, I cut corners occasionally, but not at the cost of safety!! (Or Life or Limbs for that matter)

some may find this funney, but the dangers are real. i broke my wrist at work trying to pull a door down in the shop. the rope was very short i should ave told someone to put a longer rope on it. i climed up to pull it down and the rope broke and i fell 12 feet, i could have broke my neck. but i have had many very close calls that could have ended my life. be careful always imagine whats the worst that could happen, and if in doubt, dont do it.
