The source is not the best but at large, this is actually true, and the Sephardis are the actual original Jews from the Palestine, not the Ashkenazim. It's enough to see how Jews look like and conclude that many are not semites, the remaining being probably Sephardis, not Ashkenazim. Sorry but Palestine wasn't even a place when Judah existed. For one the people were actually known at the time as the Philistines not Palestinians and two they were basically Gypsy like in the fact that they moved around like nomads because no one wanted them around until they settled north of Judah and became fish worshippers.
