well, I hate to be critical, but all he did was add a flanger effect to that white stripes song.  Would have been nice to see the rest of the set, Im sure thats not all he did.

It's Serato scratch, it puts the songs on the laptop onto the vinyl so you can control it.

He doesnt mix on the laptop, he mixes with real vinyl but the sound it put through the blank vinyl out the speakers and plays the song selected. Its the same as vinyl but no need for masses of cases to carry it! :P

@tomjayere its not puting the tracks onto the vynil,

he controlles the software with the timecode vynil, a simple sine tone pressed on them that changes his sound when u scratch etc. thats the way u control the track

yeah people romanticise about vinyl, like if you don't use 'true vinyl'then you aren't good. Takes the same skill...all your doing is playing the songs digitally instead of an analog source. O_O
