what does it mean when one bunny is on top of the other??? My mom tried to get my bunnies together but my boy bunny (bugzy) looked like he was attacking my girl bunny (bijou)
@Lynda100895 Are they spayed and neutered? You cannot put a male and a female together if they have not been altered or you will soon have a lot of little bunnies. If they are altered then the mounting thing is a way of establishing dominance. Rabbits do not get along naturally and you have to carefully introduce strangers to each other or they will fight to the death. Proper bonding takes time and patience.
@Lynda100895 That is bad! There are way too many bunnies in our rescue shelters and foster homes right now because of people breeding them that have no idea what to do with them. A little known fact is, 80% of house rabbits born do not live to one year old because of inconsiderate people breeding them. They either end up dying in the woods because they are dumped out and do not know how to survive in the wild or they get sold to idiots that kill them to have for dinner.
@AdriShade They did fight a little at first but they get along great now. We have since added a third male rabbit to the mix and all three of them are doing good with no fighting. It was a tough job to bond three males and took a few months but it has worked out well.

@blhtaz they aren't my sister actually explained to me that my mom wants baby bunnies. Is that good or bad?
