Info on Luiz's first boss in this vid:

Its name is Block Devil. It(he) tries to hit you with a specific pattern of block formation. Then BD controls the giant block and hits the remaining parts of the stage at random. The circular ball in its middle is the weakness. After awhile, the block will deform the revers of how it was formed.

Its weakness is the rebound striker
