Parkour and freerunning are MEANT to be minimalist in clothing; shoes with thin soles, loose pants, etc. Freerunning (:this ain't parkour btw, it's got flips:) is about freedom of expression. I appreciate the sweating, I honestly do. I train in martial arts, work out, and worked construction for 5 years. I do know the allure of taking the shirt off but it is really unnecessary. And the vast majority of the time there is always somewhere in the back of the mind the idea that someone is trying to look cool. You guys are superb athletes and have amazing physicality, no doubt. I respect it immensely. But every time there's physical exertion someone has to take their shirt off

I think you may also need to take into account that sometimes clothing can be restrictive to one's movement above all else. Anyone within athletics has clothing designed with their specific field in mind - in order to draw the best performance. And I am sure a large percentage of tumblers etc in the Olympics would rather perform with as little on as possible(were decency to permit it). These gentlemen are fully clothed for the majority of the time, which should say something.

And you cant expect a single guy to be walking around with a shirt on, cause when you go out, Practically no guy here does, and I have to wait for 5-6 PM at night to do parkour, so that its only 90 degrees out.
