  • Another bias and sexist woman claiming others are sexist.

  • Comment removed

  • Too bad she suffers from her own gender bias as well.

  • Rebecca was so funny and eloquent, she's so right to remind atheists that simply because we have opted out of religious biases, we still might hold others.

  • Dawkins on one end and that dude from the atheist experience on the other...AWESOME!

  • THE ODDS of the sequence of molecules in a cell coming together by chance are similar to the odds of magnetic letters randomly bonding together in a sequence to form all the words and sentences in a dictionary. Without the right sequence, a cell's molecules won't work. Amino acids can come by chance but not proteins. Without DNA there can be no proteins and vice versa. Gradually won't do. It's all at once or not at all for a cell's survival. Read my article: HOW FORENSIC SCIENCE REFUTES ATHEISM

  • NATURAL SELECTION DOESN'T PRODUCE ANYTHING. It can only "select" from what is produced that has survival value. If a variation occurs that helps a species survive, that survival is called being "selected." That's all it is. There's no conscious selection by nature. It's a passive process. Natural selection is a figure of speech. The term itself is a tautology. Natural selection only operates once there is life and reproduction, not before. Read my article: HOW FORENSIC SCIENCE REFUTES ATHEISM.

  • NATURAL SELECTION IS NO BLIND WATCHMAKER because it can only "select," not produce or arrange. If a variation survives, that's called being "selected." Natural selection operates only once there is life and reproduction, not before, so it couldn't have been involved in life's origins. A partially-evolved cell (an oxymoron) would quickly disintegrate. It couldn't wait ("survive") millions of years for chance to complete it and then make it alive! Read: HOW FORENSIC SCIENCE REFUTES ATHEISM

  • HUMAN-CHIMP DNA MYTH: The actual similarity is between 70-87% not 99.8% as commonly believed. The original research stating 99.8% similarity was based on ignoring contradicting evidence. Read the article, "Evaluating the Human-Chimp DNA Myth--New Research Data" at the Institute for Creation Research Site. The similarities are better explained due to a common Designer Who designed similar functions for similar purposes, rather than chance. Read my Internet article: WAR AMONG EVOLUTIONISTS!

  • SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST prevents macro-evolution. Natural selection wouldn't preserve the evolution of new traits because they wouldn't have any survival value. A partially-evolved hand evolving from a previous trait, partially-evolved tissues, organs, biological structures would make a species unfit for survival. There are no fossils of partially-evolved species. All species of plants and animals in the fossil record are complete and fully-formed. They came into existence as complete!

  • MACRO-EVOLUTIONARY LOGIC is similar to seeing an earthquake churn-up a few well-formed rocks and concluding from this that earthquakes, if given enough time, can construct a building. Macro-evolutionists take the little things here and there produced by chance and extrapolate it into something extraordinary and then call it science. Notice, all evolutionists begin with a complete species. They don't begin their theory with partially-evolved species, with partially-evolved tissues and organs.

  • restricting reproductive rights? does this stupid bitch not realise that men have no reproductive rights at all? if a woman is pregnant, men have NO say in whether or not the woman can keep the baby. why should women have reproductive rights if men do not?

  • feminism and atheism are incompatible. atheists generally promote the idea that people should be able to live freely, whereas feminists demand that people behave in certain ways- for example, telling women they can't be porn stars, and telling men they can't go to lap dancing clubs.

feminists have basically jumped on the atheist bandwagon and are making clever scientific free-thinkers look like idiots. it's a pity that dawkins doesn't even realise this.

  • Closed minded, one eyed sexists like this don't do atheism any favours.

The reason she sees sexism where her collegues do not is that she just creates sexism out of thin air.

  • Men will take any opportunity and use any means to chide each other, we call this "giving someone shit", and is all part of the bonding process. Women make a pretense of being cooperative and friendly, to each other, but are more secretly NOT SO than men.

Women, desiring equality should try not to interpret standard male shit-giving as sexism even when it is identical to it. The method for getting the most respect is to quit whining and grow a pair.

  • Damn... seems hard to be a guy nowadays... approach the wrong women or ask for a number too soon and shit like this. I once went on a date with a feminist... she didnt mind me paying for pizza, but got mad at me for holding open the door. Heaven forbid she apprieciates that and me being a gentleman. Bullshit like this is why we get compared to religion.

  • on the other hand, i feel the comments about how some don't find her attractive at all are unnecessary. don't like what you see, just shutup then.

  • @JackofOneTrade567 I think it's just peoples' general attitude that she needs to get over herself, all he did was ask if he could pick her brains a bit because he'd listened to her talk and was so stupid as to actually find her interesting. She just flat out assumed that soley because he was a man, and he asked to see her more, he must want sex. That's sexist of her. But I expect that, she's a dogmatic femo-supremist misandrist.

  • Where can I watch the rest of this video?

  • @romperstompist - Check out AronRa's channel. I put link in the video description. He's the one who posted each person's talk.

  • If anyone can identify the supposed coffee date offering elevator man who Rebecca says proved her point that Atheists are the male pigs she indicated they were in her talk, please come forward so we may ask him his side of the matter.

Did this incident even happen? It really couldn't have happened at a better time to prove Rebeccas point then could it, so she was either very fortunate that it happened, or she fictionally invented the lift incident so as to give weight to her earlier claims.

  • She seems to argue women should have it both ways: a life free from sexual threats but with male propositions delivered their individually preferred way. If not, it is women hate (misogyny). I don't think this can be met in principle, men cannot read minds in all cases. If men stopped ALL sexual overtures, some rape would still occur, but at least men couldn't have their passivity construed as threatening! Hence, never ask any women out ever again (for their comfort) & be ashamed as a man.

  • cont... P.S. I'm not claiming there aren't valid dangers women face in current m/f interpersonal dynamics, who could, but the argument for males being responsible for females' perception of behavior, (especially when that behavior isn't unique to being a rape precursor) is untenable as burden of responsibility for a gender. Raising awareness is not the same as burden shifting. RW asks for the impossible by taking a precrime stance using personal fears as justification.

  • @jonstewartfanboy - I agree that the elevator incident was a weak example. I wouldn't negate her feelings, but men can be creeped out by amorous women, too. I think that was just an unfortunate incident --- in stark contrast with the actual problem: death threats, threats of rape, and condescension.

  • @ReligiousFiction Her "solution" falls apart if extended beyond changing laws to be gender neutral. This is where misogyny is institutionalized and destructive. People like EG are just individuals. Substitute race for her foundational assertions, and see how it compares. Laws are not quite yet fully gender neutral (i.e. equal treatment), but her campaign wants to put individual behavior as an intrinsic feature of a gender and puts men in a damned if you do, damned if you don't position.

  • @jonstewartfanboy I don't defend any non-defensive overt threat/violence against anyone regardless of their gender, or form it takes. The threats she receives are not unique to her gender, nor is abuse etc. These things are bad, but not because they may happen to involve gender, but their consequences to the *individual* target. The very divisive notion of "female skeptic" is ridiculous to me simply because gender has nothing at all to do with skepticism which is a purely mental activity.

  • Way to hijack an Atheist Conference, to turn it into a Feminist conference Rebecca. It was later in the day when some unfortunate male invited Rebecca for coffee. He is lucky he still has a job, or was not charged with an criminal offense.

I believe every male would be prudent to keep their distance from Rebecca at any future events, lest they find themselves at the pointy end of am anti-male tirade which could land you in a world of accusatory hurt.

Stay safe & far and away from Rebecca!

  • Do males ever really reach adulthood? The comments on here about Rebecca's "cuteness" are school boyish at best. What does it matter how cute she looks - you aren't going to date or marry her. Can't males ever look at a woman without thinking of having sex with her? Can't they just appreciate what she is saying regardless of whether they'd go to bed with her or not?

  • @RhondaH - QFT: "The comments on here about Rebecca's "cuteness" are school boyish at best. What does it matter how cute she looks - you aren't going to date or marry her. Can't males ever look at a woman without thinking of having sex with her? Can't they just appreciate what she is saying regardless of whether they'd go to bed with her or not?"

  • @ReligiousFiction I have never found her cute or otherwise, but have always taken account of what she had to say. I have always regarded her as an equal in the Atheist sphere, but no longer! I now see Watson as a self-centered egoist with an unhealthy and perhaps even pathological fixation on this one issue of her hard put upon victim-hood. She is a little Prick! A little Prick who is now trying to destroy Richard Dawkins with a vindictive campaign against him. What a good for nothing Prick!

  • @unserviam - Will you please give more information about this 'vindictive campaign against' Dawkins? With sources. I'm not aware that anything beyond the conference transpired.

  • @ReligiousFiction "I will no longer recommend his books to others, buy them as presents, or buy them for my own library. I will not attend his lectures or recommend that others do the same. There are so many great scientists and thinkers out there that I don’t think my reading list will suffer. ... I’m sure Dawkins will continue to be stinking rich until the end of his days. But those of us who are humanists and feminists will find new, better voices to promote and inspire...-Rebecca Watson.

  • @unserviam

Wow, so she presumes to speak for all humanists and feminists? Well, she means all TRUE humanists and feminists, no doubt. And of course she probably thinks she's in a position to be determining who such people are and what constitutes TRUE humanism and feminism. This vitriolic breed of feminist isn't doing the female sex any credit; instead, it just gives male bigots license to continue being bigots because they can simply point to Rebecca & Co. and say, "They're doing it, too!"

  • @TeapotMullah I just find her promoting a Boycott against Dawkins just because he is concerned with the real harms being perpetrated against women around the world and does not think that being asked to coffee is a sexualized high crime against women is vindictive in a jihadi kind of way. Using this little pricks fuzzy-logic, anyone who agrees with Dawkins should Boycott her SGU Podcastr, and not attend any of her talks, or any SGU events, and boycott her Sexpot Skin Calendar which she pimps.

  • Rebecca said that in her 'Privilege Delusion' piece. She is vindictive! What does the God Delusion, or Unweaving the Rainbow etc have to do with this issue. She wants to ruin the man, because he rightly pointed out that what she said happened in that elevator was not the atrocity against her or women she is making it out to be.

He expressed valid concerns which concern all of us about women and girls having acid thrown in their faces, and being beheaded for going to school, and she boycotts.

  • @unserviam Rebecca was also very Vindictive towards Stef McGraw, by inappropriately calling her out and lambasting her as basically being less than Watson.

She is a Feminist Jihadi, who is vindictive enough to figuratively behead anyone who does not agree with her. She has a following of sheep who either do not see this defect in Watson, or who are just as eager as her to despise, denigrate, and behead anyone who is not sufficiently deferential to the Female Supremacist Religion.

  • @ReligiousFiction I think many of those comments may have been made by Lesbians. I have a Lesbian friend, and she can be pretty crude and raunchy when she sees a cute female walking down the street as we drive by. If you think young men are bad, you should hear her.

Modesty and a modicum of good taste restrain me from regaling you with some of the choice descriptions of how she would debase various other females if she could get her hands on them alone somewhere.

I think she is too funny!

  • @RhondaH that is what adulthood is for a man. stop being a misandrist.

  • @JackofOneTrade567 - Saying that adulthood for a man = evaluating each woman sexually is denigrating to you, your gender, and humanity in general. Real adulthood and maturity for any human is when a person can look at someone else as an individual, not as something to have an orgasm with. I'm not demonizing sexuality; I'm saying real maturity is to acknowledge sexuality but also move beyond it.

  • @ReligiousFiction how is that relevant to my point? fact is rhonda was demonizing the sexuality of these men. so they were admiring her appearance? boo hoo, why should such behavior be limited to 'immature' people. it's like saying "real men are turned on by a woman's personality," even though that's a biological impossibility. we can't value people for their personalities? no, it just means we won't be getting boners because of it. besides, RW wasn't saying anything worth appreciating.

  • thanks for posting.

  • I'd like to see a feminist now and then who at least tried to look like an attractive female.

  • @216trixie - Attractiveness is purely subjective. You're probably surrounded by feminists who take pride in their appearance. But that doesn't mean they have to bow to social pressure to do weird stuff to their bodies just to fit in. Also, if you don't like Rebecca's look, that's not a reflection on her, but on your personal preferences. There's nothing wrong with having personal preferences, and nothing wrong with others not fitting your preferences.

  • @ReligiousFiction I made a pretty broad swipe. You're right. .........I think maybe I was cranky.

  • @216trixie - no problem. :-)

  • @ReligiousFiction Not purely subjective. There are some traits that are biologically pleasing to each sex instinctually.

  • @216trixie rebeca is cute enough and i don't see why some makeup and hot clothes should make a difference ... but i disagree with her ... if someone tells her that she is cute/hot or whatever doesen't mean they don't appreciate that she is smart ... in my case i'm attracted to smart girls and appearance it's way smaller factor .. i do make jokes about cooking , cleaning and stuff ... but it's a joke ... i do clean , cook and shit like this more than my gf ... should i become a "male-ist" ... ?

  • @NapoMMC "Male-ist'...that's pretty good. She is cute. I think maybe i'm just getting old.

  • When I think of atheist sexism on YouTube, I think of Laci Green (although her new channel is mostly about being sex positive). She has very intelligent things to say and all of her perverted male subscribers (not all but a seemingly significant amount) can comment on are her boobs. Seriously?

  • she is a verry brave woman WOMAN SHOULD 100% HAVE TOTAL CHOICE AND TOTAL CONTROL OF THERE LIVES AND BODIES AND SHAME ON ANY ONE WHO SAYS OTHER WISE SHAME on them

  • Recently me and my girlfriend had a pregnancy scare. A simple condom split.

Just the thought that she couldn't get contraception scares the shit out of me. I'm 18, she's 17 and there is NO WAY that we could support a child.

I support women's rights but the abortion issue is not strictly a feminist issue. Think about the boys in these situations sometimes.

  • @musli4brekkies - True; a lot of issues (gender, sexual preference, "race") cross so many boundaries, they're not just limited to one of these groups.

  • When people want to attack an idea some people choose to attack the speaker. It doesn't matter if you are a female, male, dog, bird or a talking pile of shit.

  • rofl, i should have known better. i knew i'd come back. neways, if what you say is true, then ya that's misogyny, but im still not seeing oppression. are your opportunities being infringed upon. if not, then you're not being oppressed. if someone wants to be a sexist, so be it, but if they're not infringing on my ability to excel, i don't care. feminism is the opposite. feminism wants to control people's minds, and it actively tries to oppress my gender through the judicial system.

  • @JackofOneTrade567 - Thanks for returning :)

I think your definition of feminism is like conservative christians' definition of muslims: ALL muslims are fundamentalists who want to rid the world of egalitarian values. But there are clearly moderate muslims who don't try to perpetuate their own power through sharia law, etc.

I use this comparison with feminism, and I urge you to watch the video I mentioned. Feminism in its purest form is about equality, regardless of the fringe groups.

  • @ReligiousFiction if you want to talk about equality then explain to me why here in the states it is only manditory for men and optinal for wemon to sign up for the military draft? perhaps you'd like to explain to me why the devorce laws are in favor of the woman and the only assured way that the man can win is if the woman were an alchoholic and or a druggie? why is it that a woman dosent need a reason to file for divorce (ie no fault divorce) why is it that in italy a woman can state..........

  • @jeffrielly - What you're pointing out is that gender inequality is bad, and I agree. Men shouldn't automatically be denied full custody of their children. Women shouldn't make less than men doing the same jobs. This is what real feminism and humanism are about - treating people fairly and equally. We're here to examine society's preconceptions and correct what's unjust.

  • @ReligiousFiction ...not doing enough house work as a reason for divorce when truth is he is proboly workin 50 hrs + a week why is it that wemon payless on insurance and intrest then men

  • @ReligiousFiction I'll send you a message with the script in both spanish and english as soon as I can. Already started working on it. You can release it as a new video or add subtitles here; whichever way you prefer. I'm available for translating videos in the future if the need arises.

  • @Anarchy17SB - sounds wonderful!!!

  • feminism has nothing to do with humanism. feminism is about one thing, and that's misandry.

  • @JackofOneTrade567 - Actually, check out Stealthbadger's explanations of what feminism is, just using simple tools like the dictionary watch?v=ZwtjLG3qlIQ

  • @ReligiousFiction i know what the dictionary says about feminism, and it's wrong. rebecca watson is committing the fallacy of "argument from privilege". the reason some people don't want to hear about feminist issues is because they know it's bullshit. feminist simply know that if they don't paint women as oppressed, they're powerless, so who's the misogynist. women are living in an age of extreme privilege, and excuse me if it annoys me to hear a feminist perpetuate the victim mentality.

  • @JackofOneTrade567 im sure some will call me misogynist for being an anti-feminist, but that's only if you equate feminism with equality for women, which i support, but that isn't what feminism has accomplished. i agree with her on abortion, contraception, etc., but i don't see misogyny rampant in my society, the atheist community, etc. atleast here in the west. in fact, i see the opposite. excuse me for being for being for equality. i feel bad for aaronra ad richard dawkins.

  • @JackofOneTrade567 I too am an Equalitarian. I support equality before the law for men and women, and equal, but not superior rights for all.

I notice that you say felt bad for Dawkins, and AronRa, and by that I assume you meant that they must have felt that Rebecca was hijacking the event for an unfitting purpose. Given Rebecca's later rant about a guy asking her to coffee in the elevator , I'd say Dawkins is lucky she didn't try to say he blew in her ear, or touched her leg under the table.

  • @unserviam omg, this whole elevataorgate thing, it perfectly demonstrates why feminism in the west is laughable, and dangerous for society. man hits on woman in elevator, rebecca feminazi says something stupid, dawkins points out her stupidity. a man? hitting on a woman? in an elevator? OH NO, call the freaking pohlees. i knew including feminism at an atheist convention would only derail things.

  • @JackofOneTrade567 You know, I have been thinking about the timing of this Elevator-gate incident which Rebecca says happened after she had spoken about how sexist the Atheists are. Pretty convenient timing! Did anyone else see the guy? Did he have a convention name-tag? Were he and she caught on the Elevator camera? Who is this mystery man who was johnny on the spot to help prove Rebecca's theses that it Really, Really is so that Atheist men are the predatory pigs she holds them up to be.

  • I am not sure why she raised the issue of sexism at an atheist conference. Please correct me, but I think is a reasonable summary: there are sexist atheists and non-sexist atheists, then there are sexist religious people and non-sexist religious people...sexism is bad. I don't disagree - but I fail to see the relevance.

  • @UrukEngineer because atheism tends to fall under the left side of the spectrum, as does feminism, and feminist want to spread their bullshit.

  • @JackofOneTrade567 - What do you consider the 'bullshit' that feminists want to spread?

And, just to continue your metaphor, spreading $h!t is how one makes things grow.

  • @ReligiousFiction female oppression. anyways, i've made my point. agree or disagree. i won't overflow your comment section with my posts.

  • @JackofOneTrade567 - As a woman in the south, I definitely disagree. Here, if a woman has a dissenting opinion, she's a "bitch," and if she doesn't want to have children and does want to have a career, she's considered a "whore" or that something else is seriously wrong with her. The Church of Christ, the Baptist church, and many others treat women as if they are the reason society has ills (ie Eve), but also as if they're the ones who have to hold themselves to a different standard (attire)

  • @JackofOneTrade567 - I see where you're coming from in that women in the west are much more privileged than before, but until people of any gender, race, or belief system are treated equally, there's still something to complain about, and something to strive for.

  • @UrukEngineer - She said she raised the topic because others had said that there was no sexism among atheists, and she had plenty of evidence that that wasn't the case.

  • @UrukEngineer I think Rebecca is generally a feminist first vs the other way around. So, whenever the opportunity exists for her to wear the feminist hat, she generally seems to. Paula Kirby gave her that opportunity. The thing I find distracting about whatever "ism" is the aim for "gender blindness" whilst preserving "gender difference". I don't think it can be both ways. Men and women are necessarily different. Institutionalization of roles is bad, but people will be people, good & bad.

  • @jonstewartfanboy I agree. But, I'm a bloke and I am guessing you are too by your username, so it is all very well us saying "chill out sister" to the feminist lobby - we don't experience the stuff that clearly pisses them off so much. I support equal rights/pay and the right to Choice. It's just that I can't help feel that women's rights are in the dirt when it comes to religion-dominated countries. Rebecca would achieve her aims and more besides, by aiming her missiles at Theocracy instead

  • @jonstewartfanboy I agree that Rebecca seems to be monomaniacal on the topic of Feminism. She knew she was attending an Atheist Conference & could have prepared a speech, but indicated she had no clue what to speak on until she heard Kirby. She shoehorned a square Feminist screed into a round Atheist hole.

She needs to view ever interaction between men and women through the Gender Feminist/Supremacist lens & tar every male with that brush. I would avoid her like the plague at other Cons!

  • @ReligiousFiction I'm willing to translate it.

  • @Anarchy17SB - Yes yes yes! If you do, would you like to make a video out of it, or would you like me to do so? Either way! I would just love any and all such messages to reach a wider audience.

  • =)

  • yay, my country, proud to have them here

  • Shes right. I've stopped making vids regularly and hid all of my old vids (and friendlocked PMs) because of all of the weird comments that I get from both Christians and atheists. I do have less of a problem with atheists. Most of the Christian men (and some women) are incredibly patronizing and characteristically talk down to me... although that happens a lot with atheists too. I've been asking myself lately if its worth it to continue.

  • @lambchopxoxo - I hope that you someday feel comfortable sharing your videos on a broad scale again. <3 Maybe ignoring the comments is an option? I agree with you that I've had less sexist comments from atheists than theists.
