Ese tecnica que hace Dan esta muy legos de ser igual a las que hacen Robert y Ryo de AOF 3 .. quienes realmente demuestran muchas variaciones y tecnicas realistas.. Ryu es una copia de Dragon Ball Z.. y la mayoria de los juegos usan tecnicas similares y mucho mejores.. lo cual solo me deja pensar cuando es el estilo de pelea de Ryu, sera el mejor del mundo... si sus tecnicas son chafas y siempre las mismas..

Ryu is a copy of Dragon Ball Z.. and most games use similar techniques and much better .. which only makes me think when is the fighting style of Ryu, will be the best in the world ... if their techniques are crappy and always the same ..

@jhniscolV2 Actually no he isn't a Ryu parody he is a parody of the Art of Fighting games. When the Art of Fighting released it's character Ryo (an obvious play on Ryu) with a fireball move, uppercut, a red gi like kens and blonde hair Capcom were a little pissed but since most of the street fighter characters were based off Japanese mythology there was no copyright to the mythologies. As a result they made Dan to mock Ryo by giving him a similar moveset to Ryu and gave him Robert Garcia's face.

@mmmmmarcus Dan isn't really better than any of the other characters in SF4. He has lower damage per hit and probably lower stamina along with a low damage ultra combo.

But the numbers don't matter much when a good player is playing Dan against a n00b using a faceroll character like Sagat.

Surprisingly, Dan's decent in SF4. If you think he sucks at this game, then you're either a hadouken spammer or not good at this game.

Dan was always built as a 'dummy' character. He originally was designed just to be fun to lose matches with. But more hardcore SF players managed to get him into top-tier status. Most likely by trouncing people who suck at the game, rather than other legitimate contenders with stronger character selections.

I'm no where near a top-tier player, so Dan's typically not viable. Not in SFA3, anyway. I haven't played SF4 yet.

Those who diss Dan usually are those who spam hadoukens, use Ken frequently online or use overpowered characters. Dan requires skill to use (as any other character). If you can't use him simply because he doesn't take as much damage in a single hit, than you're not good at this game.
