  • The beginning song is Shutters by Bruce Peninsula and the ending song is Rosie by Bruce Peninsula

  • intradasting, downloading now

  • Just saw it on DVD yesterday. Great film! Compelling story.

  • The entire soundtrack is breathtaking and flawless. It really carries the movie and adds to the tension in some scenes. I recommend it to everyone.

  • The first murder is the most difficult... After that...it's..."BLOOD SIMPLE"...

By the way, Jill Henessy looked ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC as Annette Mulcahy, the Police Captain of Detroit's 15th (!) precinct in Andrzej Bartkowiak's "EXIT WOUNDS" (2001). The sexual tension in the scenes between her and Steven

Seagal are definitely worth watching and remembering. But most of all, Jill Henessy never looked better and sexier than she did in that particular kind of film.

    Despite her early..."EXIT".

  • Interesting

  • Peter really is a great actor!! one of my best :)

  • i am going to watch movie becouse Peter Stormare.....he looks like Till Lindemann from "Rammstein"

  • the trailer is shit or the movie is shit but all looks like shit....

  • I liked the movie.. not sure about the ending...

I found the music throughout REALLY irritating and unnecessary, sorry :)

  • This is a brilliant movie. I really hope that it doesn't get ignored because it's very subtle and those movies usually stand no chance on the market, but it's absolutely gorgeous, great performances, Bruce Peninsula's soundtrack is amazing and Stormare finally gets a shot at a lead. He needs more of that, he's incredible as everyone else.

  • peter stormare is a fucking beast. Never seen him done anything poorly. class act.

  • @ marshallgault , thanks. I was wondering what song that was. the last scene was epic. It was the best part of the movie.

  • i live in one of the tows that they filmed in lol last year i was on the bus for school and saw them shooting this ;P

  • h ttp:/ /b rucepeni nsula.bandc amp.com/track/rosi e

  • If anyone else asks, the song at the end IS awesome and it's from a collection of Alan Lomax recordings called Rosie off the record Negro Prison Songs.

Just search "Alan Lomax - Rosie" in the youtube.

  • @marshallgault

You are partially correct. The song IS Rosie, but it is actually performed by the band Bruce Peninsula who did the score for the film. Soundtrack to be released soon!

  • @3ldfilms HA! It's not very often someone gets shot down personally by a production company. Looking forward to the movie and the score!

  • @3ldfilms Thanks. Now to figure out that song played briefly at the beginning...

  • @sclhzrd06 It's another song by Bruce Peninsula, named Shutters (/watch?v=kQ4NSeda24c). Darn fine song aswell. ; )

  • @3ldfilms Bruce Peninsula is incredible. I can't stop listening to their works.

  • What's the song at the end?

  • @sclhzrd06 Alan Lomax - Rosie

  • Any idea what the song is at the end. Its incredible.

  • @mikebrims Alan Lomax - Rosie

  • Amazing movie. I read a review that dissed it because it was obvious who the murderer was. That annoyed me.It's not like the the movie was supposed to be a whodunnit: it was a movie about a man's struggle with himself and his impulses. Incredible acting, incredible emotional layers, incredible shots, accurately-Canadian dialogue that didn't verge on stereotype. Loved it.
