  • At last, the argument for liberalism from its source, Jesus Christ, and the exposure of the right's bastardization of his words. Amen.

  • Lawrence, you're the best. Nothing like a highly educated guy who knows his Jesus. I notice Rush hasn't gotten back to you regarding your challenge.

  • You can cast all the slander you want about "liberals, democrats and socialists", but it does nothing to ague against the fact that Rush Limbaugh is an ignorant, selfish, liar and clown. If there is ever any doubt about it Rush reconfirms it again and again in front of the world almost every time he opens up his mouth.

  • Amen, Lawrence! And, I'm not even a Christian.

  • Jesus was a socialist of that there is no doubt.."if the real Jesus Christ was to stand up today/He'd be gunned down cold by the CIA/ God doesn't live in the Yankee dollar/God doesn't plant the bombs for Hezbollah ..The The.

  • @BLUEHIPPO47 ???????

  • He should have looked at the charitable giving stats of "fair share" preachers like Obama, Biden, the Clintons, Kerry, etc...and then look at Rush's. He could have made this video for left. They are far better at 1) making money and 2) giving the least amount to ANYONE. Mr. Obama just deducted everything he could to reduce his bracket from 35% to 27% and the Clinton's gave away even their USED UNDERWEAR for tax deductions WHILE condemning everyone else for not being "patriotic" enough.

  • @TNCelt1 Take it you don't much like Democrats? lol

  • @TNCelt1 You really love your party, that's so messed up.

I hope you always have a job, otherwise you might have to thank the democrats for welfare.

  • With this latest transgression, I now sincerely believe that Rush is now in line to be struck dead with cardiac arrest. Struck by God.

BTW, Rush, you claim to be "Talent on Loan from God". Well, Rush, he who claims to be talent on loan from God is a liar and the truth is not in him.

  • AwakenThe Republic has closed his account, That was quick, lol

  • Lawrence O'Donnell is awesome. That is all.

  • Epic Pwn.

  • @AsianShakespeare how? Jesus says to give not take, jesus is not a thief.

  • @AwakenTheRepublic Give to who? The Rich?

  • @WolfArden44 Yeah the rich.......

  • @AwakenTheRepublic Ahh, ok, so Jesus said for the poor to give to the rich ?

  • @AwakenTheRepublic I asked you, "Give to the Rich?" You say in reply, "Yeah the Rich".

What bible you reading ,lol I personally never read where Jesus said for the poor and middle class to contribute to the wealthy. Jesus sympathized with the rich did he? lol

  • We pay taxes for a lot of reasons, but it breaks down in a few simple ways. Taxes go to social services, and to pay the incomes and overhead for the people and infrastructure to provide those services. Not just welfare and unemployment and Social Security and Medicare/aid, but police/fire/emergency services, infrastructure maintenance...and the wealthy expecting the majority of those burdens to fall on the low/middle income earners just.won't.work. Anyone unable to see that needs to wake up.NOW!

  • Rush is right-Jesus does not "take" anything. As Creator and God, He already owns it all. His call to us is to GIVE, out of hearts that have been changed by His love and mercy. Jesus also said his Kingdom is not of this world - his entire life and teaching was built around preparing souls in this life for eternal life (which includes learning to give). To interpret Jesus' teaching as support for "progressive" policies and taxing the rich according to their ability to give is total blasphemy.

  • @ABeavers323 Jesus "took" from the moneychangers by upsetting their profiteering tables before the temples. With untold millions in this country going hungry and homeless, how can the Rush Republicants defend cutting medical services for the poor while calling for lower taxes on people who live in mansions?

  • @deeanne17 Jesus upset the moneychangers because they were using God and His temple to extract money from and CHEAT others. Look into the charitable stats of the leaders on the left who preach that we should be giving more to be more like God, when they are actually using God to enrich themselves and cheat the citizens. Jesus may very well have "upset" our Congress.

  • @TNCelt1 So you against taxing the Rich ? It's the wealthy who can afford a higher tax's, not the middle class or the working poor. You not getting that concept or what?

  • Elljizz: We need the government to run our social services and we need a structured system to distribute the taxes along with the charitable contributions to those services. Don't pretend ignorance to the pittance the wealthy like Rush contribute charitably, and then deduct from their taxes so they pay even less, if any at all. And those people who work in those service departments need incomes for their work. How ignorant can you be, dude? Even moreso than Rush himself, obviously. Wake up!

  • I cheered when I watched this!

  • Elljzz - regarding taxes

"Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and unto God the things that are God's."

    And

"...for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing.

Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom..."

  • Let us not forget that the one and only time that Jesus had a "meltdown", it was when he saw the money-changers in the Temple. He tossed all of them out, knocked over their tables. They were the Bankers of biblical times. Things never change.

  • The flaw in your argument among many is that giving is just that, a choice to give where as taxing is an obligation. Unless the government is your god. A tax is a governmental obligation not a gift. To be more fair you would need to look at Rush's charitable contributions and by the way how much do you give to the poor and your taxes don't count in that assessment.

  • Brilliant.

  • AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! I am not certain of Mr. O'Donnell's religious beliefs, but he stated FACTS when speaking about the Scriptures.

(1 Timothy 6:17-18) Give orders to those who are rich in the present system of things not to be high-minded, and to rest their hope, not on uncertain riches, but on God, who furnishes us all things richly for our enjoyment; 18 to work at good, to be rich in fine works, to be liberal, ready to share,

  • I couldn't wait to find this video..RUSH IS SOOOO STUPID!!!!

  • Jesus was referring to giving up goods to the poor - not the government! He wants to equate taxing and giving to the government on the same plane as voluntarily giving up most of it to the government? It's ridiculous!

  • @elljazz But the government's policies are to help the poor (or anyone not filthy rich). In terms of doing so voluntarily versus as obligated by the law, well, I would much rather someone told me that it was required than someone tell me I can do whatever I want and then condemn me to hell for choosing to do what they didn't prefer. :D

  • @elljazz So in order to be a Christian Rush needs to let several homeless families pitch their tents on the lawn of his compounds. Actually, this is what some wealthy folks have done. There's film of John Lennon who, when he found a homeless fan was "squatting" on his property back in the '70s invited him in for a meal and let him stay until he found somewhere else to go. Would Rush do that? Maybe, if the guy gave Rush more Oxycontin to snort and get delirious from.Who's more Christian?

  • @elljazz Food stamps, housing, public education, libraries, welfare, police, disability services, public universities, planned parenthood, homeless shelters, etc come from OUR taxes and guess what? OUR government is in charge of collecting that money.

Face it, most people donate money on a whim, not consistently. Charity will NEVER, EVER, be enough to keep all of these programs running. So if you like living in an orderly, functional, society then please be quiet because it's NOT ridiculous.

  • Lawrence - Please Brush Himoff!!! Thank you

  • if rich gave all of their wealth to the poor who would the newly-minted rich give their wealth to? back to the very same people who gave away their wealth in the first place?
