This may be the last opportunity for America to reverse this track of destruction we are on – and a chance to rebuild a system of governance that understands its true role, to protect our freedoms and support the right to private property and the accumulation of wealth. Liberties well understood by those who architected American's Constitution and the Bill of Rights. RON PAUL 2012 <3333
Actually, although Ron's a good man, and a good LIBERTARIAN, there is only one person with that voice running: Wayne Allyn Root.
Ron Paul will never get elected because he's betraying his own beliefs by remaining in the Republican Party. Everything he says is Libertarian, not Republican.
Look at the R Party from it's genesis. They are not the party of small government and never have been, just slightly smaller than the Democrats.
@dase4321 Ok, Dase, I fail to see how reading the Constitution would resolve this issue. What would resolve the issue would be for you to pay attention in class. Republicans came from the WHIGS. The Whigs were the big government party. They continued that in the Republican Party. Lincoln was a BIG GOVERNMENT president. His party was all about that. Even now, though the Democrats became that, the Reps have not really changed their stripes. Learn.
One thing that we constantly see on the Internet is that all active ones are merely talking about the morality norms or just points the causes of the problem. In contrast, this unhealthy system is much more organized. If you want to act, you need to be organised too. We would suggest:
Focus more on how to act, than just arguing with each other. Educate each other
Spread references to reasoned videos through social networks (Facebook, etc.)
Revolutions are often long hard fights. The Ron Paul revolution may well be no exception. But this is the right fight and the fight we owe to the founding fathers. We must stand and persevere till victory is achieved, no matter how long it takes, no matter the price we must pay. To do anything less would be the ultimate affront to all those patriots who died to give us the freedom that is now being stolen away. Can we care any less than those who gave their lives for this fight?
Ron Paul is a great Libertarian philosopher for whom I have a lot of respect, but he is not a manager. He has no executive experience. He is a legislator.
Michael Bloomberg has much better credentials on economics, and is the very American capitalist that Ron Paul idealizes is writing.
Bloomberg... Mayor of New York, reminds me of the other New York Mayor who dropped out and spent $50 million doing it...
Bloomberg, if you think BUYING your way into the White House, then great. Americans think suppoting candidates is like sports, no wonder the country has gone down the pan.
If he reminds you of someone you should explain why, rather than making straw man attacks.
Bloomberg is a self-made Capitalist. with no inherited wealth.
Ron Paul is a Capitalist who speaks out against "Hate-the-rich populism". Making statements like the one you just made, makes you more like a John Edwards supporter.
In a mertiocracy we reward those who achieve. If these are your views on those who succeed on their own merits, I don't think you're the kind of supporter that Ron Paul wants.
We do not need a manager. In fact that has been the problem all along. People let the govt "manage" the people's money and it ends up with a disaster. I say we get the guy with the biggest label for being a mismanager.
So you are saying in order to become president you need experience being president? Ron Paul was in the Air Force, that's leadership abilities right there. Besides, under the constitution an 80 year old man with a 3rd grade education could run. As long as they were born here of course.
@ChrisgNYC Yeah GREAT idea! Let's all support someone who has to use his own $ to run his own campiagn to prove he's worth following! Forget that crazy old Dr. Ron Paul, and all those military and single parent supporters who are giving him money they barely have much of. Or better yet let's support one of those people paid to run for office by a big company, one that shows the success of running a business. We don't need someone with legislative experience. We need a businessman to run things.
DO u listen to the debates? i mean really, any of you?? cuz if u did u wud no the dems have been tlking bout it since last yr in the debates and trying to do things bout it since the clinton days !!! the republicans have blocked tihngs for yrs
Really, is tht wht u thnk, wow, well wht do u want american citizens walking around a hostile area with no armor, ammo, or defense, wow ic how much u really believe in our country, n who fixed the republican probs after they screwed up our country and had us Bilions of dollars it debt? the DEMOCRATS get your facts straight, next point? n btw Obama not by 2013 but by 2012, n yes the republicans have blocked any good bill the dems wanted for YRS therefore making the dems look worse. Case not shut!
how about no enemies of american citizens? There is no good the democrats can do. They lied about the deficit just that the republicans out did them on the deficit spending even more. Stealing from the social security fund and reporting it as a surplus is not a good economy. But then again, keep worshiping a party ideology and fu"k the country up. Keep doing more of the same and expect different results.
Name one bill that would have solved anything! Just one! The Democratic party has control of the executive and both the House and Senate! How hard is it to achieve something when you have all majorities control. Obama and Bush both have spent too much it's bipartisan failure. Just one last point our debt has only gotten bigger in the last 6 years so I don't see how the Democrats have fixed anything. Ron Paul is the first man to actually support our constitution since the founding fathers.
I will, however, im not saying our political process isn't corrupt becuase, well it is, im just saying the democratic party stands for more like, fair wages, good jobs, and the middle class.
If you are caught up in the Dem vs Repub false paradigm, you will not hear the real issues which Ron Paul is courageous enough to discuss with the American people.
Look at the issues and not the party. America is heading for a meltdown, and this is directly tied to our civil liberies, Money system and the Wars/bases overseas. To ignore it is to sign a death warrant.
Everything patricksaintjames said. Beanboiler, you really need to understand the history, monetary system and the actions of the US govt under both the democratic and republican party administrations. There is no difference between their actions in recent years! Except that they differ on whom to tax overtly, which they balance out by the covert taxation anyway.
@beanboiler No, Democrats Claim to be about fair wages (then offer fair wages to Unions while punishing those who actually EARN their fair wage on their own merits) Good jobs (and then press legislation that moves more and more of those jobs overseas through excessive regulations) .. but middle class? They haven't even been able to Lie about that yet - because they don't know who the middle class is supposed to be.
Stop making excuses for corruption, and vote for the One guy against it.
I hope u see the flaws in this , it portraits the dems in a totaly rong way! and if yer canidate has so many 'new' ideas and is a diff kind of canidate, y is he running as a GOP?? cuz ur dissing his party, to did u no tht??

Clinton: "bomb Iran". Obama: "pull out by 2013"... Democrats: Funded the Iraq war(Occupation) in the last round of Congress.
They will say anything on TV. But the results are in print. Case shut.
