I have ALWAYS wanted SharPei..my whole life, they are so pitiful looking that they are adorable. In Ancient Chinese Dynasty era they were owned by royalty. They are supposed to be one of the most family oriented, protective and loyal companions of the canine world.. I love them.. Really Cute vid!

@AshleyApathyxx Although I have never owned them, I have wanted them also. I have worked alongside veterinarians & I do know a little bit about them. They are notorious for getting eye & skin infections though, if the eye infections get really bad & keep recurring, then you may have to get their eyes *tacked* by the vet to help reduce infection. With skin, keep wrinkles clean & dry and dust with medicated powders and bathe them with tar & sulfur shampoo [for dogs of course]

@AshleyApathyxx Try to wipe out the eye area daily and keep it as clean as possible to avoid the eye infections and use plain, warm water
