@egocrusher a lot of the crew such as jabba, or poreotix have individuals who have been taught by og's of poppin -_- jabbawockeez also have good elements and versatility from elements of hip hop in the term of dance. you dont know the individuals, and you cant judge them just on what you see on t.v. when it's more focused on choreography rather than freestyle like this video.

so true! choreo is based on memorization and being critical as well as being on point. but when it comes to freestyle, it comes from the heart (or so it should). Majority of freestylers dance from their soul, not a set routine that they always come out with everytime they bust in a circle or on stage. you would know who the true freestylers are - you just dont see it, you feel it!

Micheal Jackson never learned the moonwalk from boogaloo shrimp, he learned it from Jeffery Danials of the group Shalamar who was also known as the pop along kid when he danced on Soul Train in the late 70's and early 80's.
