Medicaid explicitly does not cover illegal immigrants, but de facto it does, for "emergencies" such as pregnancies. 1/3rd of births in CA paid by Medicare are to illegal immigrants. Not only births are covered-so is pre-natal and post-partum care. I am not against illegal immigrants in the US-most are poor people making an honest living. But I am against liars who pretend that the lack of an explicit check for citizenship will not allow illegal immigrants to get taxpayer-supported HC.

I am for that. And then the US should SEAL the borders and really prosecute illegal aliens and those who employ them. There are 11 million already in. Lets accept that and make sure no more come in.
