Colour of a ferret does not reflect their temperment. Its just a genetic throw back. If you are buying ferrets buy them in 2+. A single ferret is a lonely ferret, they love to have a friend or more to play with. The more the merrier and the havoc you will get, but most certainly the more fun!
No, never been bitten anything more than a light nip from play fighting with them. Most ferrets never bite harder than just a play bite. They are amazing creatures and as sweet as can be.
