A great combination of "Were You At The Rock?" (An Raibh Tú ag an gCarraig?) and "Sheep In The Boat". Absolutely amazing!!! My heart melts as I am listening to this
@Renatita3077 Like mssnrygrl said, but this time for sure, it IS a low D whistle, I don't know which brand, but I have one and I've learned this song on it after listening
It's like the song En Avant Blone which they play as an Intro to Etrezomp-ni Kelted. It's an own song on the album but it always appears together with the second.

the guitarist plays with such clarity, and the this band plays such catchy tunes.
Would like to see them live, do they ever visit the UK?

@Renatita3077 Looks to be an Irish low-D whistle most likely made from wood seeing as the whole band hand-made most of their instruments
giausjulius4 6 months ago
@Renatita3077 I think it's some sort of wooden penny whistle. My best guess would be a low D.

I'm trying to play this song on the guitar by ear but can someone tell me in what tuning it is? Probably a simple one but I can't figure it out.
This is a great song and great performance, btw :)

The intro played is actually a different song "Where You At The Rock" but it goes really well as an intro to "Richard Parker's Fancy"
They follow up seamlessly on the album as well
