  • Haha I just made it 666 likes

  • I can't find any covers of this song with this intro!:(

  • fantastic!

  • MAB is faster than this guy. :)

  • @Reed0Sparky0Leighton No, Malmsteen has the record for it...

  • @Jac0bM1ll3Y1 Haha. Nah. Not so much. There are several people faster than malmsteen. ;) MAB for 1.

  • @Reed0Sparky0Leighton Faster does not equal better. MAB just plays fast, wanky shit. He isn't even a composer.

  • @Hotdog40404040404 I didnt say better. But I do agree. Personally I dont really look at either of them as great musicains. Just talented shredders.

  • guitar?

  • This song was to hot for me to listen to. I only held out till 0:50, what happend next was the epic eargasm.

  • 11 shizophrenics came to this video, and were convinced that yngwie stole this song from them

  • Yngwie Malmsteen is truly the Chuck Norris of guitar players.

  • I got this CD. Yngwie plays bass in all tracks. the album is 'war to end all wars' from 2000. the album was recorded in Yngwie's 'baroque n' roll' studios in miami.

  • It's Yngwie himself who plays the bass! yngwiiieeeeeee! :D not Barry!

  • @Gorlegaar88 For the albums live obviously its barry

  • Who is the bass player? He's pretty awesome to.

  • amazing

  • Guifoni, I beg your pardon. The bass and the drums are holding down the tune. They are all great.

  • @alohakikadude i know, they are all awesome, but i was curious to know who is the bass player.

  • I've enjoyed this MUCH more if I could watch the man actually playing it - instead of just a static picture.

  • @skoragzi there are videos of him playing it

  • @Bludhoundz8 for christ's sake, skoragzi XD there's a video of him playing it right next to the fucking video... RIGHT next to it XD

  • @murosteel you just replied to the wrong guy XD i said the same thing to him

  • @Bludhoundz8 no i didn't... i was replying to your comment so he would see it right after yours >_>

  • @murosteel ah

  • 9 people are justin beibers number 1 fans

  • fuck google adds, do you think I give a rat's flying testicle when Yngwie is on the menu? Fucking corporate whores

  • Paganini in guitar's neck It's cool guys!

  • I can play this song perfectly!!......in super slow motion

  • i tried to shred yesterday but.... my finger's skin was scratching of :(

  • I saw him play this live on 10/13/2011

And he was FUCKING AMAZING. Truly The Best

  • bloody gorgeous he was

  • @sarabower1 Was? Still is

  • What Album did you get this off of??

  • 9 people are gay ! LOL

  • @SerialKiller91 forreal though!

  • The moment you have an orgasm because you came to this vid for the guitar, and you hear the EPIC bass intro...

  • lol his hair is always so crazy lookin

  • and what about the bass?

  • enas ap'tous BEST ROCKERS

  • this version is called Molto Arpeggiosa if I remember correctly

  • Arpeggios from hell long version is great!!!

  • excelente tema

    toda la composicion

    grande malmsteen!!!

  • fuck yeah

  • Speed,melody,crystal notes,perfect technique!

  • Thank you for another one of Yngwie's highspeed solo's.

Thank you for the show (--8

  • Lucifer became annoyed with all of the mediocre guitarists, so he decided to be born into this world. We now know him as Yngwie! lol

  • i can play the main theme at 75% speed. but the picking fucks me up lol. im a horrible economy picker. and its hard to alternate pick it

  • @Aremine The same happens to me with this song. Some other musicians leave a very clean picking method easy to discern, and some others have intricate switchings between alternate and sweep picking, combined with asymmetric fret and string sequences. Its funny that Yngwie states he doesnt know whats going on with his picking, apparently he just does something so naturally improvised and fast that he only sounds sloppy when playing it slow, and cant give tips on picking...

  • @omgtkseth yeah i saw that interview aswell :D

  • BOSS

  • He would be faster even vs a man with 20 fingers !

  • @darthd95 Haha so true.

  • Comment removed

  • i thinks this is called Molto Arpeggiosa or im wrong?

  • i thought i was impressive for playing smoke on the water on one string....

  • @bloodtimer Well he does have a clear advantage, seeing as how he's using all 6 of his. I'd call it even. lol

  • @rockster07 oh but i can do it while sliding the notes...i think i clearly win!

  • i love the bass riff in the beggining! oh and i love the Mind fucking shredding of Yngwie

  • i just gotta go listen to jaco now sorry ynwie, but u just sound like how i sound when i try to interpret a solo with my tounge lol but i love the song just couldnt make it all the way through

  • @6ftUnder92592

    ha, yngwie is the best

  • O.o

  • dude is beast

  • there is 3 ways in our life:

    the bad WAY

    the good WAY

    the yngWAY

    ;)

  • @adimu99 there's college too

  • @adimu99 The yngWAY is the worse, right ?

  • Surprisingly simple, but I love it.

  • AWESOME JUST AWESOME

  • MY Arpeggios From Hell , click my profil ...

    Arpeggios From Hell ....

  • yngwie piece of heaven.

    biebier piece of candy-ass

  • q chimva

  • marik esta severo

  • I'd love a good quality version of this :(

    Amazing none the less^^

  • ARPEGIOS DEL CIELO

  • What a boss!!!

  • i have exact same gutiar

  • @loperfggf

    What, with scalped neck?

  • Van Halen? BAH!!! Joke!!!

  • whats the easiest malmsteen song (i wanna be able to play like him..but not imitate him)

  • @rocknotpop1990 good luck with that

  • @rocknotpop1990 I think Black Star. 84% of the song is relative easy for a intermediary guitar player.

    Good Luck. : )

  • @MagnumBullets47 i will

  • @MagnumBullets47 But the acoustic part and the solo are fuckin impossible.

  • @rocknotpop1990 "I am a viking" is pretty simple. Among the instrumentals, I guess most of Black Star and Evil Eye should be pretty simple to play for most people :)

  • @jan1080 If you can play scale runs, you can handle most of what Yngwie does. I find Marty Friedman's work trickier, they are like tongue twisters for your fingers.

  • @Blitzbok Friedman is my absolute favourite metal guitarist, actually! :D Nothing is more fun than playing songs from Rust in Peace or Countdown to Extinction :D

Not to mention his stuff with Cacophony/his solo stuff.

  • @Blitzbok That's because he holds his pick in a very weird way.My hand would probably fall off after 15 minutes.

  • @Videostar1another1fa The picking has nothing to with it. That part is actually rather easy. It's the actual note sequences that are tricky. He doesn't rely on scale runs.

  • That's the guitar performance to which the effect which could be impressive gives it.

  • @phenom371 actually its the war to end all wars album

  • @phenom371 High Impact

    2009

  • I'll kill the 6 bastard who put Dislike on this song

  • @caccin777 i disliked it come get me mutha fucka >:)

  • I Love the vocals.

  • yawn

  • @DropkickMurphys12 Dont act like this isnt badass, tool.

  • mi abuelo :D

  • for real, i didnt liked this, i barelly like cacophony nd im not gonna say this guys got no fellin or anything, its just not my style o music :D

  • wow Swedish power!!!

  • @vikingwallen yeeeaaaaaaaahhh yngwie greetings fron good old germany to beautyful sweden i love sweden your country is nice nice girls and nice food and great music but sometimes a little bit too cold for my taste thats why i go for holiday in the summertime fishing take care buddy

  • @aphasia1972, thanks i agree Sweden is awesome, here can be cold some times but heavy cloathes and you wont feel it

  • is this song also on a cd. I love this song and would like to buy

  • is this song also on a cd

  • teletubbies for life

  • this bass riff is badass.

  • and he does all this on a strat... just sort of goes to show the Kerry Kings of this world with their ridiculous guitars!

  • @jazzevans the best model leo fender gave to guitardom!!

  • @jazzevans Strats are great guitars, but so are BC Riches (some of 'em at least) It's just a matter of preference.

  • @jazzevans nothing wrong with kerry king's guitar playing, but this is kick ass. and must be hard as hell to play.. hinting the name

  • cool bass intro..........

  • Just a touch of musical masturbation going on there :/

  • he´s going to fucking war...

and he will win every freakin´ battle

  • @Jeahbuddy not if he battled paul gilbert or buckethead. without a doubt paul would knock him outta the water

  • @DopeMcDoperson this other one was just in his video, this is the original song

  • If My stratocaster wasn't by Stagg, i could have learned he rpeggios from hell

  • @stnhristov haha.. my first guitar ever was also a stratocaster by Stagg 5years ago, IT SUCK BALLLLLS never stayd in tune so i threw it to hell after listening to this song!

  • Yngwie Malmsteen is THE BEST guitarist to ever live. Not even Slash, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Raye Vahn, Eddie Van Halen, or Kirk Hammett who all I consider great guitarists could pull this off.

  • @KansasOgre yeah, but he uses scalopped frets so its easier. but hes still awesome

  • @rcproductionsstudios He's talking about Malmsteen's musicianship, not technical skill or speed. Malmsteen is definitely one of the most influential guitarists of all time and he practically defined neo-classical metal. If we were talking about pure speed Tiago Della Vega would be the fastest with about 24 notes per second.

  • @johnny2468ification great point partner, tiago della vega is the human proof, that speed is not all, he has an amazing technique, but his music sucks

  • @KansasOgre

There are plenty of guitarists that can pull this off. If you judge a guitarist based off of technical ability then not only do you have it all wrong, Rusty Cooley, Jeff Loomis, Jason Becker, Michael Romeo, and Michael Angelo Batio are all neo-classical shredders that kill Yngwie in the technical department.

  • @Fluffypopcicle Well said my good man.

  • @Fluffypopcicle i wouldnt say kill...yngwie is by no means a slouch

  • @shmooey101

You can be very technically advanced, but that doesn't that there aren't people a couple steps above you in the technical department. Uli Roth was super technical in his days and Yngwie destroys him of course. Same deal here except MAB has actually been very technically advanced long before Yngwie came around. He just didn't do anything in the studio until his later years.

  • @Fluffypopcicle honestly they are all around the same technicality range in my opinion and u forgot about Paul Guilbert and timmo tolki, matias kupiainen, gentaro satomura and a few others but yngwie malmsteen kinda started the whole neo classical movement along with a band stratovarius. at the time had the lead guitarist timmo toliki who was very influenced by yngwie nd probably improved his style. also id have to say alexi laiho from children of bodom and jari maenpaa from neomelodeaths r good

  • @xXMetalxLoveXx

Well, it was technically Uli Jon Roth and Ritchie Blackmore that are the real origins of neo-classical guitar playing, but Yngwie perfected it. You also have Frank Gambale to thank for the invention of sweep picking. Yngwie would hardly be Yngwie without sweeping.

  • @Fluffypopcicle yeah thats true sweeps are very important in neoclassical songs but like this allways occurs in music one idea or song etc is stollen and made popular by someone else sorta like if someone had smartphone tech befor apple but apple got to the patten first....if you will lol

  • @Fluffypopcicle btw i like your channel and musical taste i agree:)

  • @Fluffypopcicle oh i agree your completely right im just saying that he is still incredible...and i typed in rusty cooley is now one of my favourites for uastrian death machine...i had no clue he worked with them

  • yep he plays the bass

  • i think these are arpeggios from god himself!

  • @bivolix well its in the title..^^

  • @bivolix then they would be arpeggios from heaven......

  • @bivolix

god tried to play this but could only play it at half speed.

    hes currently taking lessons yngwie.

  • @woundspooden Wrong. God taught yngwie.

  • @bivolix or satan!!

  • @bivolix No, Satan! Jack Black proved it.

    Hail Satan.

  • @bivolix more like satan!

  • just awesome masterpiece he is copying the paganini violin playing style on the stratocaster thats it but suerly perfect

  • what album is? please

  • @xXxSlIpKfLaViOxXx War to End All Wars, under the name "Molto Arpeggiosa"

  • damn at 2:56 ...this is like the best groove ive ever heard ...-feeling- is the word that matches ynwie the most!

  • this guy is improvising all the time when he playes live, that makes him so unique.

I love his way of playing.I don't play guitar myself but i know what good music is and this man can play like hell :)

  • bad tone

  • dude my bassist showed me this song for the intro saying "listen to that sexyy ass bass dude!" then i say "the bass?.. the guitar just tore my mind!"

  • Yngwie is fucking awesome.

  • Comment removed

  • @LetThereBeJHC Now it's 4 people :/ whats wrong with thos people that dossnet like this???? 2 more people that needs to be killed!

  • @LetThereBeJHC And what about the other 5?

  • can you tell he did the bass for this song?

  • this song kicks ass

  • c'mon! is that all??? I WANT MORE!! this is fucking bad ass!!!!

  • shit... i found this song a couple years ago and i looked it up on youtube and...

    ...

its a guitar hero 2 song... such bullshit

  • Arpeggios form hell is a incorrect name, the real name is "Molto Arpeggiosa"

  • @blackgrowl666 Type in arpeggios from hell in the search bar at the top of your screen, then click the first video and you'll hear Yngwie himself say the name of this piece: Arpeggios from hell.

  • @Demonbart In the video you mention, Yngwie refers to the structure of the song as "arpeggios from hell" and is often misunderstood by the name of the song

    Good day

  • man the bass player is intense

  • @weathered79 the bass player is actually yngwie.

  • only yngwi could play that....that is exeggerated (and i guess stevemaster247 knows that)

  • @stevemaster247

i think that the bass player from racer x could play that bass and i think paul gilbert the guitarist for racer x could play this song hes a legend as well as yngwie they are both in the top 5 ever look up scarrified by racer x pay attention to the bass

  • the bass in the beginning is so fucking epic

  • anyone have any tabs on this version? i would love the intro in tabs or atleast the riff right before the main arpeggios from hell at :50

  • This song is actually called "Molto Arpeggiosa"!

  • High Impact new version of Arpeggios from Hell!!!! I like this version more than the original....

  • if only i could drop out of school now that im 16 and become famous.......meh screw it. 1 in a billion chance.

  • Yngwie rocks Colima, Mx
