do you string the top of the mesh to the back of the head or front?

@koswin22 good question. take the first row of diamonds and fold it down. the folded part should be facing you(string the top with the back of the head facing you ALWAYS) after you loop around the first diamond to sorta lock it down your going to string from the back of the mesh to the front, through the hole and loop. hope that helped. once i figure out whats wrong with my camera i'll upload videos

Guys look at the guy who strings the brown proton power. he gives the BEST lessons and i string all my buddies sticks. his video comes in two parts. search "how to string a proton power lacrosse head". you can use it to string any head.

well idk how you do your sidewalls, but what i do in order to make sure everything is even, i switch back and forth when stringing down. i used to do one sidewall at a time and sometimes it wouldnt be even, but if you string one hole on one side of the head, string the same hole on the other side, dont do one sidewall at a time

@LacrosseRages What I do is I put a ball wherever I want the pocket to be and I pound it in there. After that I stick a pencil or some type of stick through the hole on the side of the head so the ball dosen't move or fall out and then I let it sit for the day. Once you are done take out the pencil and you should have a pocket

@klt160 Hard Mesh is mostly used my Intermediate to advanced players. If you are just starting out I recommend soft mesh, it is easier to catch with and cradle with. The difference is that the pocket droops for soft mesh, as it does not for hard. I'm one of the few people who have been playing for awhile now that prefer soft mesh. I love everything about it for me. When you get the whip just right, it could be deadly!

@1vinze1 your shooting strings completely depend on your style. the tighting your strings are the lower the ball will go. if your strings are too tight the ball will go straight into the ground but if they aren't tight enough your passes are likely to rainbow. i prefer having them as tight as i can while still being able to make a decent pass because the tighter your strings are the faster you can shoot.

I recently bought a stick (beginner stick, as I'm new to lacrosse and couldn't spend too much) and everything on it is loose. Theres quite a bit of extra mesh thats been folder over on the top and the mesh itself is really flimsy as apposed to the mesh that is in this video (firm/ strong). Should I get new mesh and string it up or just work on tightening my mesh? I've been playing around with it but the ball always hits the top coming out. Thanks in advance

@xiI2USHo You should ask your lacrosse coach or find somebody that is good at stringing to help you out. Don't always rely on videos like this even though it is a really good video. Sometimes its complicating to watch a video while stringing your stick

@rjdawg19 Depends on what level of play your going to be at. If you're going to be at the college level, you only have one choice, the Super Power. If you're going to be in high school, the Proton Power is much better just as it is slightly more pinched. I have a Super Power and have used it for 1 season of box and 1 season of field, and nothing has happened to it. You can see it in use in my videos. Hope this helps :D.

@AdrianPeterson28lm it makes it so the ball is much more likely to come out of the stick the same way every time u throw the ball. it just guides the ball straight out of the stick instead of going somewhere u dont mean to throw it. a U shooter helps guide the ball out the same way a channel does, but i like having both a natural channel and a U shooter to help the accuracy even more. hope that helped (:
