If Christianity is false, then Christians have wasted their only life and, depending on whether some other religion is true or not, are also going to hell forever. @eahazell The point is that we have invented words to describe things. Agnosticism is itself a claim of knowledge. You can couple that with a claim of belief. Thus you get for example an agnostic atheist or a gnostic theist. Any person capable of belief in a higher power is either an atheist or a theist in the general sense of the words. There doesn't seem to be a middle ground there. You either lack a belief or you hold one. If you lack it you are by definition an atheist.

But a faith is stronger, whether atheist, agnostic or pagan, and they do symbolise power, power that you, the ex-religious, never had with your religion, only a secualr faith is divine, and the true dignity beyond any religion. Atheists are emotional people, it's simply a divinity superior in happiness and a beautiful divinity of a powerful woman.

Can't believe atheist are so discriminated in your country. Dusty must be missing the point of atheism: justice, when you don't use a foul mouth to abuse religious people but speak non-religious for the sake of reason. "Libertine" is a good film with a positive message to like atheists, but you don't have to be so insensitive and corrupt, that's the problem. I agree with you 110%. I really believe that we should be more aggressive. I also live in the south, and understand how ridiculous these nut jobs can be. If Christianity is false, then Christians have wasted their only life and, depending on whether some other religion is true or not, are also going to hell forever. @eahazell The point is that we have invented words to describe things. Agnosticism is itself a claim of knowledge. You can couple that with a claim of belief. Thus you get for example an agnostic atheist or a gnostic theist. Any person capable of belief in a higher power is either an atheist or a theist in the general sense of the words. There doesn't seem to be a middle ground there. You either lack a belief or you hold one. If you lack it you are by definition an atheist.

I think secular divinities such as atheism is symbolic. It's "bigger than God and Satan" so to speak, more divine, and atheists and agnostics feel higher than heaven itself because they place themselves above religion, and act like kings and queens, they're so proud of being secular.

I think in this "information" war it's beyond religions: asceticism, which is a beautiful thing, isn't my forte, and pessimism doesn't work. But a faith is stronger, whether atheist, agnostic or pagan, and they do symbolise power, power that you, the ex-religious, never had with your religion, only a secualr faith is divine, and the true dignity beyond any religion. Atheists are emotional people, it's simply a divinity superior in happiness and a beautiful divinity of a powerful woman.

I'm proud to doubt too, Dusty, but I came across a strange subject that made me proud to be an agnostic, neither atheist nor religious. As a subjectivist, I don't refute science either, since I proved religion's not true, and it doesn't exist (I hope you understand), but since I'm not sure if the post-modern future is a religion or a godless faith, I think you should be embarrassed blindly believing the faith (or religion), so i'm comfortable in the quasi-scientific agnosticism.
