The stuff on the floor is from the melted electrical cables that were running in the "cable trays". If there were molten sodium on the floor mixed with plutonium they would all be dead. Plutonium is one of the most toxic substance known to man.
That white stuff is fire retardant spread by the fire fires onto the electrical cables. The insulation on the cables is what is melted and in a pile on the floor They are not even inside the primary containment where the reactor is

This "fast breeder reactor "is full of tons of plutonium. The stuff that leaked is sodium , which explodes in contact with water. Just a matter of time before Japan has another chernobyl if they are stupid enough to restart this time -bomb.
