Ive had both, the atrix lags way too hard, and for all you phone newbs its not a TRUE 4g phone, its only hspa+, and the atrix makes horrible uses of its 2gb of ram. iPhone makes way better use of its hardware. and just looks better. I have two Atrix phones... my wife and I hate them. It all comes down to reliability. The Atrix just doesn't like to obey! So many times it will not dial and it will refuse to use network connections (wifi or through AT&T). There is too much variation in Android and the hardware quality seems lacking. We just switched back to the iPhone 4 and we are much happier.

i just got the super phone version of this which is the xt860 still almost same specs but also has a keyboard and running gingerbread and i must say amazing, no lag, bright crisp screen and don't have to worry about turning down the brightness like on apple devices ebcause even on lowest setting still bright and not to mention it has a micro sd slot which supports and extra 32gigs over the 16 gigs it comes with

Fanboys everywhere. The new iphone is supposed to have the a5 dual core cpu would should perform very well. I'm not usually a fan of apple (computers specifically) butapple does some things very well. Apple's software is highly optimized their devices unlike android where there are so many different hardware configurations. The iphone has a very nice display and one of the best touch screens ive ever used. I'm due for an upgrade so im trying to decide what kind of smartphone to get.

The only problems I have with my Atrix are:

-Can't play certain games (i download APK's online)

-Camera's decent, but not good enough to match up with the Nokia N8's cam

-Some applications only take up part of the screen and not the full screen

-I wish I could still have the motoblur dock found in earlier versions of androd (before the 2.3.4 Gingerbread update) because it was simply a large call button and a large contacts button which I absolutely loved

Other than that, it's absolutely amazing
