I would like to point out that BYU's wideout flipped the ball away after scoring the Cougars' first TD. This, by rule, should be unsportsmanlike conduct. If they want to flag Jake, they should have flagged that
The rules are clearly stated and Locker broke them. Nobody made him toss the ball in the air. And what people are forgetting is that the call didn't win the game. BYU blocking the PAT did. Anyone who watched that game knows BYU deserved to win. They were the dominant team and it was really only their own mistakes that kept UW in the game in the first place. Not to mention that there were numerous holding and other penalties by UW that went uncalled by the PAC-10 refs. Fair indeed.
