Guys. Just read some articles and stop playing stupid games. This is a base for army training. CryTek do a lots of things around simulations. US Army use their software to train soldiers for example. But believe me it is not based on Crysis 2 game engine. Is much more powerful.

And being in the army isn't a fun task, unless you enjoy the feeling of some of your best friends dying during a firefight and being chewed the fuck out by your drill sergeant. So realism for games helps remove those bad things, while keeping the enjoyable things in.

Games like Heavy Rain are too realistic because they are trying to prove a point in some sort of way. Heavy Rain kinda explains the day in a life of 2 detectives, a serial killer trying to close up all evidence and loose ends, and a divorced father willed to save his son.

VBS2 [Virtual Battle Space 2] is used for training. That would be Arma 2's much much big brother.
