  • People and things change in 15 years. Kennedy was still alive and Mitt was squirming to hide he is personally pro-life, a member of the same party as Reagan and a board member of the hated Boy Scouts. I guess he doesn't want to persecute gays but he does seem to offer concessions to them, women groups, pro aborts to get elected in a lib state. The audience did laugh at him rather than cheer because they were not buying it.
