It is nice to see here Sriram encouraging the budding Mridangam artiste- who will no doubt one become a'seasoned' Vidwan in his line! - a chance to accompany him. The boy is indeed performing so well,in unison with the accomplished Sriram.Unless the instrumental artistes esply.on violin and mrdangam, manage to train themselves by actually accompanying DIFFERENT-PACED vocalists, their instrumental achievement will be wanting for impressing listeners. Learn solo, train with vocalist, is the trick.

Sriram Gangadharan has great musical talent which he nourished and developed providing considerable inputs. He was greatly inspired the immortal GNB, and many wished Sriram should grow with this inspiration. The Madras circuit, which continues to be the authentic Indian centre for Classical music in its different variants, did not support him greatly. Still, Sriram has succeeded to cut a niche in the Carnatic music wotrld. God bless him!
