you dont need to chuck the shells theres a button under the shell elevator i have this gun and i know plus it says it in the instruction manual, same with mossberg i have 2 of those also...mikus47 dont do that my friend fired off a round in his house doing that no one got hurt though. when you get a firearm learn to use correctly. im sick of these idiots who load guns in their house when they dont need to and unload it incorrectly and stupidly.
first of all im Australia and we don't have a president, second theres a right to bear arms, and theres a right to posses the enitre USSR cold war surplus arsenal in your living room, fuck you redneck.
@fishboy1989 News flash asshole: The right to bear arms does give us the right to have 'the entire USSR cold war surplus arsenal in your living room'. You don't like it, then stay the fuck in your continent.
@TotallyDanSmithin yeh no wonder you have columbine shootings etc and an extremely high murder rate compared to other devloped nations. I don't like it, therefore I'll be glad to stay on my own continent.
@fishboy1989 I know you're going to hate this comment too, but, and this is speaking from statistical fact, if all of the teachers at Columbine had been armed, that situation would have ended a lot quicker with a lot smaller loss of life. Or, potentially never happened at all, if the students knew the teachers were armed. Its not the legal gun owners who commit the crimes.
"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."
The operative words would be "Well regulated Militia" and "necessary to the security of a free State"
Currently I don't think we have enemy forces running through downtown Philadelphia. A gun enthusiast myself, I still understand and respect the Constitution, and understand that guns really aren't currently necessary for civilians.
@Im4themotherland At that time 'militia' was defined as 'all able bodied males aged 18-45', as defined by the Militia Act of 1792. And a true proponent of the constitution would understand that this was intended to protect us from not only invasions from without, but tyrannical governments within. Think.
@mtp23church ummm sweetheart it the 'Right to BARE Arms'. Did you know it was the second amendment? And the it was established over 230 years ago to stop the British Army from invading Amercian homes. Just checking :)
Wow, the propellant on those shells is so small. What is that, game shot? Or light target shot?
I use 3 in, 00, 15 pellet buckshot for the home defense. Biggest you can get. Might break yur shoulder, but whoever is on the other end will get blown in half. Shit is made for a black bear
Umm, this may sound odd. but is it legal to own ANY automatic weapon after you get a permit? I'm new to this stuff and Im confused. And how many rounds does the magazine tube hold?
@PegEikine Not true. You need a class 3 license to own a full auto produced or imported after 1986 when the ban was passed, but you can still purchase and own a pre '86 ATF registered full auto. However, there is a 200 dollar tax.
After you load the gun how many times do you have to cock it before it is ready to fire? Do you have to do it for each round that you put into the gun?
I really appreciate your video. It was concise and clear. I have never owned a gun before, but I purchased a shotgun today. Thank you for your video. You helped me, a novice, out a lot.
That way he has a shell chambered, and doesn't need to pump it to chamber a round. That means that he can have 1 extra shell loaded.
Eg. With a pistol, if you put in a full mag, say 12 rounds, cock the slide, take the mag out and load another bullet into it, you now have 1 more bullet in the gun.
Simply, it's just so you have more shells loaded.
I have woods and creeks behind my house. And recently there has been reports, sightings and proof of coyote , and cougar attacks and i have a boat docked in one of the creeks & i have to trek 1.5 miles to get there so i definitly need the protection so im buying a shotgun so....yeah (not 2 mention i saw a cougar in my front yard) this is my first gun im purchasing so its the remington 870?
that is definitely what i would recommend. if you would prefer, you can get semi-auto shotguns which dont require you to pump every time you fire. I dont know much about those though, i do not have one. the remington 870 has never failed me in the 5 years ive had it, one of my best guns. when you get to the gunsmith, ask what his opinion is also as he has extensive knowledge on weaponry. good luck!
Video is very dark, so it's kind a hard to see what you are doing.. I need to know how reloading of Remington model 870 works on my flash-project. Cant really see how that first shell is done. Nice vid anyways.
wat u do is u get the shell and slide it primer backwards like a normal gun teh primer(shiney part with a little metal circle in the middle) towards the stock in the barrel opening in the rear then fully cock the gun and load the rest of teh shells in teh bulti in mag again primer towards stock and just push them in wit ut thumb until no more can go in hope this helped
your submitted videos make you look like a 5 year old. ill keep shooting my real guns. you keep shooting fake guns on your video games in your moms basement.
Why wouldn't you load a gun in your house? Infact, I keep a 12" Winchester LOADED in the corner next to my bed. It's got a lock on it, buck what if someone comes in your house to kill you? Are you going to say, "Wait a minute, sir, while I go outside to load my gun." Yeah right. I was raised from the time I could talk about gun safety- my father was an Airman and my Grandfather was a Lieutenant Colonel. Learn how to use correct punctaution and make correctly structured sentences.
hey i have a question, im buying a pistol grip shotgun, and i just wanna how it works as in when you load it and pump it and stuff, when can you pull the trigger without firing any ammo, as in just when you are sitting around bored? also, where should you position the shotty when you are shooting? near the hip or at the shoulder?
Pulling the trigger on an empty chamber, called "dry firing" is safe as long as you are sure the gun is empty. Observers will think you are "playing" with it however and you may get ridiculed.
To hit a target, you really need to know where the muzzle is pointed. either hold the weapon so that you can look down the barrel at the target, or be ready to miss a lot. You can train to hit from the hip but you're gonna miss a lot in practice.
i was using my left hand to press the little button in front of the trigger guard. it allows you to unload the shotgun without actually firing the shells. you would normally not be able to continually cock the shotgun unless you fire the rounds.
I see the little button. How many guns do you have on the table???? How many of them are illegal for purchase in the US? :-) I do see the M4 with a C-drum Mag attached.
It might come in handy when zombies do come.

Safety's only lock the trigger mechanism in most shotguns.

Tell me... why would I remove the firing pin? Do you take yours out every time you reload? Didn't think so. Go play range officer somewhere else.
