The challenge of keeping your mental accuity (too big a word princeprick? look it up) in tune and not losing focus.. Death is a part of life (& yes, racing too!). Dan knew very well the risks but chose to race anyway because it's a challenge and rewarding.

I feel bad for the loss of life of the driver in this crash, but i'm glad to hear that they stopped the race when the word came thru. It shows that all the people involved with the Indy racing program truly care and have a huge amount of compassion for their drivers and their families. I wish the best for his famliy--- :-(
