iPod Touch's rock. If you jailbreak it, you can have an application on it where you can listen to/watch podcasts. It's awesome, and I think you would like it. :)
Corby! Congrats on your first purchase of an iPod. Great device you got there. I have a Nano myself.
Here's some tips you should know:
1. The earphones SUCK. They sound great, but only if you press them into your ears, because they fall out. The ones packaged with my nano fell apart within 4 mos, I suggest searching Amazon for the "Coby CV-E31" headphones which go deep into the ear to cancel out noise, have superior bass, and are very comfortable. They run about $5-10.

Well on a zune you can trade songs which is awsome! On the other hand, iphone has some great features that the zune does not have so people buy both/
