My Grand Prix Racing TonyKart CR125 pulls 39.8 on the rear wheel dyno. A stock CR125 moto engine pulls 32 with a good pipe. My GP RS bike pulls 47-48.5 . A rotary TM125 pulls 48-50 when built right. I hold 13 land speed records for engines 100cc, 125cc, 175cc I built all these engines. Records posted on So Cal Timing Assoc (rider D. Cummings)

PS. NO stock 125 moto makes 41hp! lol

hmmm - was it strapped down well enough? Seems like it spinns the wheels on the rollers - could explain the poor reading. But 30,8 must be at the rear wheels, right?

just to clearify its a 2000 kx125. basically same engine on 2006 kx125. old you say???? yes the chasis is a 1999 CRG California and that body work was used until 2004. that top end had about 3 years on it, very tired. When rebuilt it should make 34hp. and thats just a leak in the silencer. Also remember it was dead cold.. IF you dont know anything about shifters or 2 strokes in general dont make dumb comments. WKA ICC world class shifters make 45hp..

Actually in 2003 the kx125 engine was redesigned. Its very different from the pre 2003 design. But the new engine closely resembles the yz125

A 125cc dirt bike has about 36hp stock. A 125 moto gp bike 2 stroke has about 55hp and they spend millions on engin development. The ICC/kz2 motors have about 41hp the maxter would not have close to 72hp.

The power the dyno shows is also dependedn on how the dino is configurated

actually NO, a 125cc 2 stroke dirtbike makes 41 stock (my kx 125 2004) thats stock mine has .5mm overbore wiseco pro lite piston and replated with nikasil sleeve. that and the pro circuit pipe and silencer it makes around 50 horespower ive spent a grand on my bike just to get a little more than 9 horsepower out of the motor imagine companies, they spend HUGE amounts just to find the best components for an engine, this one i can tell needs new rings cylinder everything its beat to hell!

1.)Yes agreed that is an old motor, get off his back.

2.)There is no maxter engine putting out 72 horse. I have been helping develop the 07 maxter engine and its not putting out 72 horse.

3.)That is not a "short" chassis, it appears short bc the 1950 body work.

4.)Your cousin did not come over here and when anything big. The two Snap On Stars Of Karting Champs are Gary Carlton and I. Gary for the East Coast, Me for the West.
