  • @SirBasildeBrush Well, sing it to me ... *wink*

  • So nice to hear this tender version. His voice was velvet and perfect, like Karen Carpenter's voice, one of a kind. I just made my first little video about my sweet pets with his song. Thank you for uploading this. Love and World Peace ☸ڿڰۣ—☸ڿڰۣ—

  • Summer of 1959. The B side of "Just a Little Too Much."

  • This is the version I grew up with.

  • Beautiful

  • There are 2 different versions of this song recorded by Ricky Nelson. This version is also the 45 version. If this version also appears on an LP then possibly the other version I've heard on CD is a previously unreleased version. Both are good!

  • I have the other version posted, it came on a best-of CD. I've just put a link to it, click above

  • Doesn't seem to work, but you can search for it.

  • I have news for you. This is the original 45 version of the song. I know this because I have the original Imperial single...

  • I transcribed this from the original LP, the first two pictures in the video are from the sleeve. Perhaps the only difference is that the single is in mono?

  • Incredible photos...incredible legend...may he live forever...in his songs and our dreams...

    Thank you "Sir."

  • Thanks, pics mainly copied from my old LPs, just like the song.

  • thanks again for post,

    i miss him soooooooooooooo.........

  • My pleasure - this is the version I grew up with.

  • I transcribed it from my old 'Songs By Ricky' LP, bought in 1980. Still sounds pretty good, great stereo...and of course it's a wonderful tune, sung so beautifully.
