I really think that there should be a Career spanding greatest hit fer Jeff. You know all the way back to the Idle Race all the way to his newest album. I think that this would be a magnificent album. The neat thing with Jeff's music is that he's gone almost to every Style of music. I would think that the album should be called The forgotten hero - Jeff Lynnes Greatest Hits.
There already are several "greatest hits" in different versions of ELO-Lynne. One you might check-out is one album called "Message From The Country" by Jeff.
I live rather close to Jeff here in Southern California; just waiting for an opportunity to bump into him. I have with other celebs...(Modesty forbids name-dropping).
Well if you do, tell him I heard Midnight Blue when I was 14, never knew who sang it but never forgot it and when I finally heard it again in my late 30's it was emotional!
I saw the original Rock Family Trees episode which was called the Birmingham Beat. I would love a copy of the the original but alas I think I have more chance of being in ELO or The Move lol lol lol
If Jeff Lynne and Roy Wood would have really teamed up some beautiful music would have happend

The fact is that when ELO spit up there was much bitterness. It was a bit like lots of Brummies with big hair bitching about each other.
Terrifying.

Jeff's new record is coming along nicely, from what I'm told. It should be out late this year, or very early 2010.

Bur I feel something strong about Jeff Lynne.
I like his voice, his particuliar english accent, his work, his inteviews, his smile,
Youtube have something about genius.: I saw everithing I could about jeff, in ten days. That's amazing.
I feel so nice, discoveiring that man, his work,.. I would like meeting him.

Merci pour cette video. J'ai découvert Jeff Lynne la semaine dernière, grâce à la chanson Now you're gone, qui m'a bouleversée.
Depuis je me renseigne sur son travail.
Bien sûr, je connaissais ELO quand j'avais 20 ans.

Thanx for that video. I discovered Jeff last week, with Now you're gone song, and I can't help searching everything about his work.
Of course i listened ELO when I was 20, I even bought a record at that time.
But now, I discoved the Wilbury's experience, and armchair theater, thanks to youtube.
And most of this, the caracter : jeff seems to be so kind, and so involved. It's great pleasure to see that.
May you give us the DVD's name, so I coud find it?
Thank you so much.
